Justice League: Doom, another feature-length animated project from DC Universe, pits the League against a cadre of supervillains intent on not only destroying them, but humanity itself. But there's also a second threat from within the JL's own ranks, and one that knows their deepest fears and hidden weaknesses. Based on Mark Waid's story arc "Tower of Babel" (of which part is included in this set as a digital comic book), Justice League: Doom attempts to dig into the psychological landscape of its heroes, though the feature's relatively brief running time (75 minutes) doesn't allow it the luxury of exploring the moral and ethical ramifications of the apparent betrayal within the Justice League. The story is well populated by some of DC's most favored figures on both sides of the good/bad table, including Superman (Tim Daly), Batman (Kevin Conroy, returning to his iconic voice role), and Green Lantern (Nathan Fillion) for the forces of right, and Phil Morris (Vandal Savage), Olivia D'Abo (Star Sapphire), and Alexis Denisof (Mirror Master) as their opponents. Action is plentiful, and the voice cast, many of whom are veterans of both the Justice League series and previous DCA outings, handle the material with skill. For casual viewers, Justice League: Doom is a fast-paced, appealing actioner with a cast of characters familiar to even DC novices, but for longtime JL fans, especially those familiar with Waid's original arc, the story streamlining takes away much of the dramatic resonance, leaving a well-crafted but unfortunately truncated project, not unlike DCU's Batman: Year One. Extras are plentiful, with the 36-minute documentary A League of One: The Dwayne McDuffie Story leading the pack; it's a heartfelt tribute to the writer-producer, whose love and respect for the DC milieu led to his stellar work on the Justice League series (and many other titles) before Justice League: Doom marked his final screen credit prior to his death in 2011. The 20-minute featurette Guarding the Balance attempts to address the moral issues touched upon by the film, while Cyborg, a supporting player in Doom, gets his own short showcase as an apparent launch pad for his own future status as a lead hero. There's also a pair of JL episodes and a preview of the next DCU feature, Superman vs. the Elites. The extras are definitely worth a look, while the feature itself will either intrigue or leave viewers wanting. --Paul Gaita
The world's greatest superheroes face their ultimate challenge--the mind of the Batman--when the Darknight Detective's secret plans to take down his Justice League colleagues should they turn against mankind fall into the hands of immortal villain Vandal Savage and a cabal of their deadliest enemies. Feature-length animated adventure stars the voices of Kevin Conroy, Tim Daly, and Nathan Fillion. 77 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtracks: English DTS HD 5.1 Master Audio, French Dolby Digital 5.1, Spanish Dolby Digital stereo; Subtitles: English (SDH), Spanish; audio commentary; featurettes; bonus cartoons.

Here are some more information for Universe Batman:

You don't have to be Superman to install your own central vacuum system. Everyday heroes live among us: men and women who place a shining new Imperium central vac in their homes over the course of a weekend. You don't need a special suit or a magic power to become one of them. With a few helpful websites and some spare time, you can install your own central vacuum any day. It's never too late, and the experience is rewarding.
"I think homeowners get a certain degree of satisfaction out of installing a central vacuum system themselves," says Roger Ambrose, President and CEO of Central Vacuum Stores. "If you liked playing with Legos and Erector Sets as a child, you'll probably love installing a central vacuum system."
Today, the average weekend warrior can install a system in an existing home over the course of a weekend. Before you start dusting off your tool box, however, check out the following websites for valuable tips and information designed for the reasonably skilled customer. You don't even have to leave your chair for this first step: just relax and watch the installation videos. (Go ahead and grab yourself a bowl of popcorn.)
Two of the most helpful vacuum websites are Beam and Central Vacuum Stores. Beam is the largest manufacturer of central vacuums in the world and has a portion of their website devoted to the "do-it-yourself" homeowner, including a "Seven Step Installation" guide, an installation video, and an installation manual. When Consumer Reports rated central vacuum systems in June of 2004, they awarded Beam the highest rating of any central vacuum on the market. In the same article, they also mentioned one retail website, centralvacuumstores.com which they said was the most comprehensive central vacuum site on the web. If you're preparing to tackle a central vacuum installation, this website holds plenty of valuable information for you.
"Our site offers a step by step guide for anyone interested in the process," Roger Ambrose explains. "We also have a unique interactive tool that allows you to do a side by side comparison of the specs on the majority of central vacuum units on the market today." He also advises homeowners to be sure to choose the right size unit for their home and place their inlets strategically throughout the house.
After you've visited the websites and gathered information, don't rush to install your central vacuum. First, consider the following questions:
1. What size unit should I buy?
2. Should I use a vacuum or plumbing pipe?
3. Do I need standard or electric inlets?
4. Who came first, Superman or Batman? (Don't worry: this question is optional.)
People can feel overwhelmed when they first consider an installation project. Don't be. You are not alone in the universe. Millions of websites and professionals are just waiting to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with you in this endeavor. For example, Roger Ambrose says anyone considering a project like this should take advantage of the free technical advice his company offers. Whether you go to your local central vacuum dealer, study the available online information, or call a company like Central Vacuum Stores, just know there is plenty of advice and help available to you.
The "do-it-yourself" central vacuum market is growing everyday because of the ease of installation and the helpful hints websites like Central Vacuum Stores and Beam are eager to offer. Don't be afraid to install your own central vacuum system -- it's never too late, and when it's done, you'll feel like a hero.
Emily Young is a 17 year old college student. Her father is the Purchasing Supervisor at Central Vacuum Stores.

Prison Break's Fichtner Joins Cast of Batman Begins Sequel
Subsequent to his inclusion on Prison Break, actor William Fichtner has acquired movie projects like Ultraviolet (2006) and Blades of Glory (2007).
Now, he is set to work on another film entitled The Dark Knight, which is the highly anticipated sequel to Batman Begins.
Last July, Warner Bros. Pictures made public that actor Christian Bale would relive his role as Batman in the upcoming movie The Dark Knight. Joining Bale in the sci-fi film are actors Heath Ledger, who will be portraying his infamous enemy Joker, Gary Oldman as Lieutenant James Gordon, one of the few uncorrupted police officers in Gotham City, Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent, the district attorney of Gotham, Michael Cane as Alfred Pennyworth, the ever reliable butler of Bruce Wayne, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, the recently promoted CEO of Wayne’s Enterprises, Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes, Harvey Dent’s assistant, Eric Roberts as Mafia Kingpin and last but not the least, William Fichtner as Gotham City’s bank manager.
The Dark Knight will continue to project themes such as revenge, Bruce Wayne ’s father issues and justice. Having the artistic direction of Christopher Nolan would ensure that Robin, Batman’s sidekick, would be excluded in the franchise since the director aims to center the plot on the young Batman.
The movie, which will be shot in Chicago, London, Los Angeles, Baltimore and even in Hong Kong, is co-written by Christopher Nolan himself, his brother Jonathan Nolan, and David S. Goyer. The Dark Knight, which is currently in production, will be released in July 2008.
Fichtner, a 50-year old native of East Meadow, New York, graduated from State University of New York with a degree in criminal justice. He currently plays Agent Alexander Mahone on Prison Break. Prior to his inclusion on Prison Break, he worked in films like Heat, Crash, Black Hawk Down, Go, Contact and Armageddon.

in the DC universe, who's the better detective? batman or the question?
It depends what version you use honestly... the 60's Charleton Question was the best detective of their universe before DC bought them out... DC turned him into a second rate Detective.
The Batman from the 30s-40s was a better detective than the modern one.
Both the Modern Question and Batman are not as good as they have been. But If you take them at their peak when they had writers that really emphasized their mental prowess they would be pretty closely matched Batman being the better Forensic Detective and the Question being the better investigative/deductive detective.
Neither the Question or the Batman of our modern comics is as good as they were when they written by someone who really knew how to write mysteries.
The Question has turned into a modern Shaman with a good set of Martial Arts skills, and The Batman had turned into a borderline sociopath also with a good set of Martial arts skills.
The Question that was on Justice League Unlimited was a Conspiracy nut... and Batman wasn't far behind him in the Crazy department.
Neither one could hold a candle to their past, they rely too much on Barbara Gordon (oracle) or Quasi-mystical connections and aren't written as detectives anymore.
There's no mysteries to the stories anymore.
