The Predator Franchise

The Predator film series is a science fiction horror film franchise. The series started in 1987 with the film Predator, produced by 20th Century Fox. This was followed by a sequel, Predator 2 (1990), and numerous novel, comic book and video game spin-offs. There were also three more incredible films: Alien vs. Predator (also known as AVP, 2004), Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (also known as AVP:R, 2007), and Predators (2010).

The cost of the Predator action figures runs a wide gamut. Some can be bought for about $7, while some of the figures from McFarlane Toys can fetch up to $300. Some of the rare figures that are no longer in production are hard to find in the usual retail outlets, but may be seen on eBay for $500 or more!

Other Features

The available figures differ in size, ranging from 2 to 24 inches or more in height. Some are rigid, and some poseable. Some figures require assembly, and the product description of these should include the terms "kit version" or "some assembly required".

i bought a twilight toy at spencers and my cousin said not to open it!

Some collectors don't open them because as toys get older they are more valuable if they are unopened. If you just want to play with it and are not concerned about future value, then open it.
