MX 2002 Featuring Ricky Carmichael

MX 2002 Featuring Ricky Carmichael admirably rides (on two knobby wheels) the line between casual motocross arcade game and hard-core simulation. It should please both audiences equally by offering stunning graphics, good controls, lots of options, and just enough realism. The game offers your standard modes of play. Exhibition lets you jump into a full race on your own, so you can practice tricks and surmise the competition. Freestyle mode lets you practice and get used to performing trick combos. Career sends you off to create your own custom rider and race against opponents to further your career (and unlock various bikes and extra tracks in the process). Finally there's also a Challenge mode (hidden in the options menu), which gives you a task of unlocking cool video clips of real riders performing the stunts. Of course, you can play Exhibition and Freestyle in split-screen multiplayer, which provides the ultimate and most satisfying challenges. Career mode lets you revel in the accurate bikes available, from 125cc models all the way up to 250cc monsters. Bikes handle about the same, but Career mode lets you dress your custom biker in licensed clothing and puts your number and name on the rider's back. While the physics--particularly the gravity modeling--is relaxed, allowing you more time to do the stunts, you still have to worry about power sliding and using the clutch to win races and stay upright. It's a satisfyingly deep nod toward simulation while remaining as fun and accessible as an arcade stunt racer should be. Naturally for a PS2 title, the graphics are sharp and the textures complicated and colorful. It's almost as good looking as the real thing, except the mud you kick up doesn't have to be washed off. --Andrew S. Bub Pros: Great mud-spattering graphics Deep arcade action, yet satisfying for the simulation crowd Plenty of riders and career mode options Cons: The music, though rockin', gets really repetitious really fast
MX 2002 Featuring Ricky Carmichael lets you ride like a champion, compete for rock-star status, or just cruise the open terrain for your moto kicks. The game is a blend of traditional racing and free-ride madness, with 30 pro riders from the 125cc, 250cc, and freestyle ranks, such as Mike LaRocco, Kevin Windham, Ezra Lusk, Carey Hart, and new amateur sensation James "Bubba" Stewart. There are more than 10 fully customizable bikes with tight, responsive controls, allowing you to pull huge wheelies, stoppies, tail whips, and more. Freestyle mode includes such gut-busting stunts as the Bus Jump and Step-Up Challenges, and career mode offers the chance to win sponsorship deals and factory offers.

A La Jolla, Irvine, Los Angeles and San Diego Biotechnology Attorney’s View of What Biotechnology Can Do for Mankind
If you work in any of the high tech or university medical research areas of Southern California such as La Jolla, Carmel Valley, Los Angeles or Irvine, are involved in agriculture in areas such as Fresno, the Imperial Valley or the Coachella Valley, you may know that biotechnology and patent law are becoming more and more important to your business.
For many individuals, however, whether they live in large cities or areas such as Anaheim, San Diego, Orange County, CA, Santa Ana, Santa Monica, Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Oceanside, Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, or Garden Grove, biotechnology is a mystery they only hear bad things about on the news.
I've been asked, "What is biotechnology really about and does it mean the end of civilization as we know it."
It is often referred to as genetic engineering, which will cause the average person to go into a sweat fearing that he may have just eaten some genetically altered food for breakfast.
But biotechnology is so much more, and in this writer's opinion, it is the hope of mankind if it is developed with an abiding respect for nature and a doctor's creed of ensuring no harm is done.
Today, biotechnology is broken down into four main areas: red biotechnology is applied to the medical field, green biotechnology is applied to agriculture, white biotechnology is in the industrial field and blue refers to the aquatic field.
In the medical field, biotechnology helps develop new medicines, new therapies, and can be used to use normal genes to target or replace defective genes or boost immunity.
In agriculture, biotechnology can be used to boost the yield from crops, reduce the vulnerability of crops to disease or weather, and to increase the nutritional values of foods. It can even be used to improve the taste or texture of foods. A benefit of biotechnology in agricultural applications is to reduce the need for pesticides or other harmful chemicals on crops that go into the nation's water supply.
A new area in which biotechnology is developing rapidly is in biological engineering such as in the development of bio processes from the laboratory to the manufacturing or industrial scale.
Biotechnology is not without criticisms and raises moral dilemmas. What biotechnology can solve, sometimes produces unwanted results such as residues and super resistant foods that may contaminate other non-genetically modified crops. Cloning has also stirred much controversy each time it is in the news.
But biotechnology in the future may also lead to new ways to clean up contaminated environments and the pollutants and wastes mankind produces. And as the world does harm to its environment, much must also be done to reverse these effects before it is too late.

To wash or not to wash. That is the question.?
I started locks almost three months ago. My friend (who is not a licensed loctician, but has done her son's and others' locs) told me that I cannot wash my hair for six months. We use a "dry" shampoo on my scalp. She said I could grease my scalp but not to use sheen or any kind of oil on the twists/locs themselves. I have a very soft texture of hair. I have read a lot of articles that says I should be washing my hair. Should I be washing my hair; or is she right in telling me not to wash it?
um i would most likely try asking a professional hairdresser
and whatever they say goes
but i would say that no one will notice if you dont wash it so just wait a while at least before you do wash it
