Another great place to shop for Survivor Cook products is Amazon. They have more than just books! Here are some more information for Survivor Cook: Cook Islands is home to the thirteenth season of the hit reality television show Survivor Cook Islands--probably the most controversial leg--having earned very different reactions because for the first time in Survivor, the contestants were divided into tribes by race and ethnicity, when in previous seasons age and gender clusters are the factors. There were several new twists and first time events that occurred during this season. Survivor Cook Islands also gave birth to the first Asian-American castaway to win Survivor (Yul), the first season to have have a three person final tribal council, a contestant who earned zero votes in the Final Tribal Council (Becky) and the contestant to receive the largest number of cumulative votes in a single season (Jonathan with 15). The Cook Islands are located in the South Pacific, about 1875 miles (3015 km) north east of Auckland. The Cooks' nearest neighbors are Tahiti to the east and American Samoa to the west, each roughly 1500km (930 miles) away. Aitutaki (filming location of Survivor Season 13) sits at one corner of a triangular lagoon dotted with lovely motu (small islands). Two of the four tribal camps were on Motu Rakau and Motu Rapota. Tribal Council was filmed near Vainamu, Arutanga on the main island of Aitutaki. Motukitiu was the location of Exile Island and Motu Maina was the overnight reward location. Challenges were filmed on Motu Akiami, which also hosted the eliminated contestants (known colloquially to some as the "Mutiny Motel" or "Loser's Lounge"). The high point of any visit to Aitutaki is a lagoon cruise. The motus which are mainly at the outer perimeter of the lagoon are wonderful landing places for the day cruises available for visitors. The air temperature is warm but clouds blow winds swiftly in and off by the sea. Here, almost everything consists of water and blue. Wherever you stand you have a view of the sea and sky. As you turn through 360 degrees, all the lines of the land and sea are parallel with the horizon where the sky meets the sea. The endless lagoon is a continually changing palette of blues, greens and grays and you see the ocean merging with the sky, stretching to the horizon. Aitutaki is a magnificent and remote island, the kind of which dreams are made. It is a triangular-shaped 'almost'-atoll rising up 4000 metres from the floor of the Pacific Ocean. It consists of three volcanic and 12 coral islets (motus). Life on Aitutaki moves at a wonderfully relaxed tempo which is why it is such a popular destination for visitors who fly in from Rarotonga for day trips as well as extended stays. The lagoon can be approached in leisurely fashion in traditional outrigger canoes for quiet paddling just off the beach or in more sophisticated launches favored by foreign anglers. The place is perfect for picnics, walks across to the reef side of the island and some snorkelling in the channel at its north-eastern extremity. Diving is excellent and the fish plentiful in the best spots. For more Cook Islands Travel Information, visit GoVisitCookIslands.com. A complete travel guide for the Cook Islands including the Survivor Cook Islands Of all the South Pacific destinations, it is arguable that the Are Tamanu Aitutaki, one of the top Cook Island luxury resorts is in fact the most romantic hotel in the South Pacific. If you are going on a romantic vacation, or your honeymoon for that matter and you have in mind a South Pacific destination, then in my opinion the Are Tamanu Aitutaki ranks amongst the top five worlds best beach resorts, and I hope to be able to convince you that this is the case from my own personal experience. Are Tamanu is not a five star resort, and I am accustomed to this type of hotel, so I was somewhat apprehensive before setting out, despite the fact that my husband was absolutely certain that I would think it was the most romantic resort in the South Pacific. The first thing to know is you have to arrive at Rarotonga and then catch another short flight to Aitutaki. You quickly realise you are in another world, not only because of the spectacular views from the aircraft, but also because in the very few minutes it takes you to get to the hotel you realise that what they mean by a road is really a sand track. I found this whole environment so much more romantic that Tahiti, so much less commercialised, so much more the authentic South Pacific of my dreams. It is the colors that hit you first, the shockingly bright blues, turquoises, greens, and the white of the beaches, it is extraordinary. The huge beautiful lagoon is almost beyond description, and there was our resort sitting right next to it!! The rooms were large, and clean, and comfortable, but not modern. Having said that they were what I'd always imagined South Pacific to be, and I just fell in love with the place, the people, just everything. No TV or radio was another bonus, this was just bare feet paradise - my husband couldn't spend his time on the phone to the office, or his laptop for that matter. The food in the restaurant was good and reasonably priced, we went for a cruise around the lagoon, and I got to go to islands with wonderful names like One Foot Island where we had a superb BBQ lunch. I also discovered this is where they film Survivor, and also visited the beautiful Honeymoon Island. The whole vacation at Are Tamanu was just so relaxing, but to me the real highlights were the local people, so genuinely friendly, the clors, and the snorkelling right in front of our door so to speak. I definitely think we stayed in one of the most romantic hotels in the South Pacific if not the most romantic About the Author Please provide a recap of tonights final Survivor Cook Island episode. Thank you!? Satellite not picking up CBS tonight - eeek! I've been an avid watcher of Survivor this season and would like to know about tonight's final episode (final 4, final 3 - winner, jury vote, etc.) Thank you so very much!!!
First they re-capped the season so far, then there was the actual show where 2 challenges were featured. The first one was a huge obstacle course and at the end of it the hardest puzzle in Survivor history. Ozzy won immunity. So, the final 4 were Ozzy, Yul, Becky, and Sundra. Then the second challenge was standing on this platform in the water and a piece of the platform was taken away at regular intervals until they were standing on a piece of the platform the size of half a postcard. It was down to Ozzy and Sundra, and Ozzy won. At tribal council the vote was tied between Becky and Sundra and they went to a fire making challenge. Neither of them could make fire and it had been an hour of trying, so Jeff took away their flint and gave them matches. Again, they were hopeless at making fire and it took a long time. Eventually Sundra ran out of matches, so she was out of it, and it was just a matter of time until Becky finally got a decent fire going, and she won. So, the final 3 were Ozzy, Becky, and Yul. They had their time to appeal to the jury. Then the jury voted and Yul won. The votes were Yul - 5 votes, Becky - 0 votes, and Ozzy - 4 votes. Then there was the Survivor reunion and it was revealed that Ozzy won a car through the online voters. Then they showed sample footage of next season's Survivor. It will be in Fiji, and there will be 2 immunity idols, and an exile island full of snakes. Hope this helps, and sorry you missed it! Take care. P.S. This is a site where you can watch Survivor for free online. They should have the new episodes up soon. They survived SARS, but live in agony Thanks for visiting!

In the war on SARS seven years ago, Fang Bo was hailed a national hero. After winning his own battle against the deadly virus at a Beijing hospital, he was lauded by the media as a symbol of hope, and inundated with letters and flowers from the public. Seven years on, the 58-year-old is all but a forgotten survivor, crippled by the very treatment that saved his life. His hips are now lined with ...
