Natural uncultured pearls.Are they really desireable?They appearently are rare.?

I have a bracelet with 14 uncultured pearls , 7- 3mm white ones,2-6mm greyish white one , 4-4mm darker grey ones and 1-7mm gold/white. All strung on twisted silk rope(very fine) and held with a jade lobster claw clasp.If they are so rare , how come none of the jewelry buying companies or jewelers in my town are interested?
