Have you lived before? It is reported that over 75% of the world population believes in reincarnation and there are numerous documented cases of people who recall memories from a previous existence. If you have an open mind toward the possibility of having lived before then you may also be aware that hypnosis is the key to unlocking those memories.Whilst there are many claims of people regressing back to an existence where they were a famous historical or celebrity figure, in our experience most people regress to normal, everyday people>However, as we know, no one person is ordinary - we all have our unique personalities and experiences and these can sometimes hold the key to what lessons we need to learn or paths to follow in this lifetime. This Hall of Mirrors regression CD can help you to travel back through the archives of your mind and learn more about yourself. This CD includes a psychic protection routine to help you to clear any negative energies from the memories that surface. This audio hypnosis CD can be listened to at your computer, at bed-time or in your spare time. The CD was produced by an expert team including hypnotist Faith Waude, who has been helping thousands of clients since 1994 using hypnosis, and has trained upcoming hypnotists around the world, and Stephen Armstrong, who records Hypnotic World CDs to the highest quality.

Alice (TV Miniseries)
List Price: $14.98
Sale Price: $5.91

|
Writer-director Nick Willing, who turned The Wizard of Oz on its ear with 2007's Tin Man, takes a similar approach to another childhood classic with Alice, one of the more visually striking and offbeat live-action adaptations of Lewis Carroll's fantasy stories. Willing's Alice (Caterina Scorsone) is a grown woman--and a karate instructor to boot--whose lack of luck in love seems to have finally taken a turn toward the positive with Jack (Philip Winchester). Their idyll is shattered when Jack is abducted, and Alice's search for him leads her to Wonderland--the one visited by Carroll's Alice a century ago, but now overrun by gloom and vice and anachronistic machinery, and lorded over by a Queen of Hearts (Kathy Bates) who kidnaps people from the "real" world to harvest their emotions. Willing's Alice looks impressive, with its richly saturated colors and CGI environment that suggests a world with one foot in Carroll's absurd realm and the other in a futuristic dystopia, and he's abetted by a terrific supporting cast, including Matt Frewer (as the White Knight), Harry Dean Stanton (Caterpillar), Tim Curry (Dodo), and Primeval's Andrew Lee Potts as a sort of glam-rock Mad Hatter. But his script can't match the level of imagination in his direction--Scorsone, a likable actress, is left to wander passively to each scenario--which renders the project another exercise in style over substance. The sole extra is a lightweight commentary track by Willing and Scorsone that is more conversational than informative. --Paul Gaita
Independent of spirit and skilled in karate, Alice (Caterina Scorsone)--a grown woman as opposed to the child protagonist of the Lewis Carroll classic from which this Syfy Channel miniseries is drawn--is called into myth-making action after her boyfriend is abducted by mysterious wrongdoers. Passing through the famous looking-glass, Alice enters a surreal, modern-day Wonderland of grim dangers and poetic wonders. With Andrew Lee Potts, Tim Curry, and Harry Dean Stanton. 184 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles: English, Spanish.

Stalker: A Film by Andrei Tarkovsky
List Price: $29.95
Sale Price: $16.87

|
|
Stunning, brilliant science fiction from director Andrei Tarkovsky ("Solaris") about a journey taken by a scientist and a writer to a dangerous forbidden zone where fantastic powers can fulfill man's greatest desires. Led by a bald guide known as the Stalker, the men encounter a series of difficult obstacles before they reach their destination. 163 min. Standard; Soundtracks: Russian Dolby Digital 5.1, English Dolby Digital 5.1, French Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles: English, French, Spanish; biographies; bonus shorts; interviews; photo gallery. In Russian with English subtitles/Dubbed in English. Two-disc set.
Challenging, provocative, and ultimately rewarding, Andrei Tarkovsky's Stalker is a mind-bending experience that defies explanation. Like Tarkovsky's earlier and similarly enigmatic science fiction classic Solaris, this long, slow, meditative masterpiece demands patience and total attention; anyone accustomed to faster pacing is likely to abandon the nearly three-hour film before its first hour is over. On the other hand, those who approach Tarkovsky's work in a properly receptive (and wide awake) frame of mind are likely to appreciate the film's seductive depth of theme and hypnotic imagery. Set in what appears to be a post-apocalyptic future (although the time-frame is never specified), the eerie and unsettling story focuses on the title character, Stalker (Aleksandr Kajdanovsky), who leads characters known only as the Writer (Anatoli Solonitsyn) and the Scientist (or Professor, played by Nikolai Grinko) into a mysterious region called The Zone. Tarkovsky films their journey as a long odyssey, or religious pilgrimage, and center of The Zone--said to be under an alien influence--is where each of these men hopes to find a kind of personal transcendence. Despite obvious parallels to The Wizard of Oz, Tarkovsky's film is devoid of special effects or any fantastical elements typically associated with science fiction or fantasy. Instead, Stalker makes astonishing use of sound and bleak-but-beautiful imagery to envelope the viewer into the eerie atmosphere of The Zone and the dank, colorless landscape that surrounds it. And while the film's glacial pacing may be off-putting to some viewers, there's no denying that Stalker has a mesmerizing power of its own, including a thought-provoking and highly debatable ending that propels the film to a higher level of meaning and significance. --Jeff Shannon

Alice in Wonderland
List Price: $14.99

Lewis Carroll's classic fantasy receives a spectacular rendition from producer Irwin Allen, with songs by Steve Allen. Follow young Alice (Natalie Gregory) as she meets the likes of the March Hare (Roddy McDowall), the Cheshire Cat (Telly Savalas), the Duchess (Martha Raye), a dancing Caterpillar (Sammy Davis, Jr.), and the White Rabbit (Red Buttons). 187 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono; Subtitles: French.
The king of 1970s disaster movies, producer Irwin Allen, brought together novelist Paul Zindel, songwriter Steve Allen, and a host of celebrities for a pair of 1985 TV movies paying homage to Lewis Carroll's Alice. In this first installment, the 7-year-old girl dreams of being grown up enough to join the adults for tea, only to shrink to miniature size, climb through a hole beneath the door, and follow a twitchy Red Buttons in big white rabbit ears. Whether arguing with the Mad Hatter (Anthony Newley), or trying to keep her head in the company of the Queen of Hearts (Jayne Meadows), Alice is constantly running into a host of '70s and '80s personalities like Telly Savalas, Ringo Starr, Scott Baio, and Shelley Winters. If this roster isn't enough to make a poor girl trippy, she also meets up with Sammy Davis Jr. as the caterpillar, and the pair perform an entertaining hip-hop-esque tap number to "Father William." An enjoyably campy version of Alice's wondrous journey, it features detailed sets, marvelously tacky costumes, and mildly clever musical numbers. This 90-minute TV movie's pleasant goofiness will amuse children 4 and older as well as nostalgically minded adults. The TV movie has been broken into two parts on video with Alice Through the Looking Glass picking up where this one leaves off. --Kimberly Heinrichs

Make Your Wedding Day a Memorable One With Great Attendants Ideas
The tradition of the bridal shower party may date as far back as the 18th century. The custom of a bridal shower party is a last day or night of the bride-to-be and her family and friends to get together, enjoy and have fun before her big day comes. The trend of bridal showers today, however, are becoming less traditional to mark the final day of the bride before she become the wife of the groom. While there are still who would want to be a bride, and want to spend the last few hours before her wedding partying with alcohol and exotic male dancers, many brides would also opt for other less traditional option such as camping trips, sporting events, crafting activities and even co-ed shower party that include the groom-to be and his friends.
To make these traditional parties happened, the involvement of others are needed. Wedding shower parties are typically planned and hosted by wedding attendants, particularly the maid of honor and the best man. The party will not look good and memorable without the priceless effort and hardship of your wedding attendants. Therefore they are deserve to be thanked and appreciated.
Another perfect way for the bride to extend her heart-felt gratitude and appreciation to her bridesmaids and maid of honor is by giving special wedding gifts. There are lots of choices when it comes to gifts for your female attendants. One of the most popular gift ideas are handbags. Handbags are always good for weddings, therefore you want to give it to your attendants so that they can use it as an accessory on your wedding day. This gift can be a lovely gesture and will serve the purpose of keeping the accessories of the bridesmaids uniform and will free your bridesmaid from the burden of searching for an evening bag that matches the dress. However in this case, you have to decide to give handbags to your bridesmaids early in the wedding planning so that they don't have to purchase a bag as their accessory at your wedding.
Another great option are personalized picture frames or photo albums with pictures of you and your attendants or the pictures of the entire wedding party. You could purchase custom picture frames and albums and have you wedding information scripted on it. This is a wonderful gift idea because the bridesmaid can place her photos from the wedding day in the album and will always have a precious souvenir from your wedding day.
Personalized cosmetics bags or cases are also a good alternative. Purchase custom cosmetics bags and have them embroidered with your attendants' names or initials and the date of your wedding, or your personal message. Another idea to make your embroidered gifts more appealing is to include a few cosmetic items such as lipstick, nail polish, make up and others that complement each of your attendants' taste and personality.
Other great choices of gifts for your attendants include customized shirts, engraved compact mirrors, personalized jewelry gifts and jewelry boxes, spa gift baskets, outdoor gears and many more. Find them in online stores where more wider selections are available.

How can i practice my acting before my audition?
I have an interview/audition with the head minister at John well powers acting school were Brenda Song, Ashton Kutcher, and a whole lot more people graduated from. i am going this Saturday (May 17 2008) and i want to be really good when i read some of the stuff off of a script. what can i do to practice my skills? and what facial expressions do i practice in the mirror?
JRP often cites the names of famous actors (who never went to their facilites and and have been sued for that) to reel in unsuspecting wannabe actors. All they want is your cash. JRP and others like them are nothing but scam operations who use lies like that to get your money.
Go to a real acting studio that does not sell package deals with photography, supposed representation and classes all in one. Get good training and find a good photographer then get your own auditions. Build a decent resume, keep up your training then submit to agents when you've got all that goin one. Network with everyone so you know who the good agents are by then and you'll have some referals at that point as well.
good luck,
Marianne
