Friends (Season 2) DVD Review

One of the most successful television series of its time, Friends won numerous awards as a perennial favorite of fans and critics alike. Set in New York City, the show features the lives of six twenty-something friends who share apartments with each other, Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston), Ross Geller (David Schwimmer), Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc), and Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry). The six spend the majority of their free time gathered in a coffee house called "Central Perk" where Rachel works, Monica's grandmother's apartment (which she and Rachel rent), and in Joey and Chandler's apartment (which is across the hall from Monica and Rachel). One of the funniest shows of its era, Friends joined with fellow NBC Seinfeld to create one of the most successful one-two punches in network history...

The Friends (Season 2) DVD offers a number of hilarious episodes including the season premiere which begins with Rachel anxiously waiting for Ross at the airport so she can tell him about her feelings. But when Ross exits the plane with his new girlfriend Julie (Lauren Tom) on his arm, Rachel struggles with what she should do. The first several episodes of the season are dominated by this storyline until (in episode #31) a drunken Rachel phones Ross and leaves a message on his answering machine revealing the truth. Forced to decide between Julie and Rachel, Ross constructs a list of pros and cons (episode #32) that Rachel inevitably finds. The incident threatens to destroy their relationship before they finally come together. Meanwhile, Joey lands a part on Days Of Our Lives as Dr. Drake Ramoray, but seals his own fate when his hubris steps on the toes of the show's writers...

I'm 16 and leaving home?

i hate my life at home i am interigated everyday i feel like an out sider at home, i struggle to get along with my parents, but im afraid if i leave my parents will disown me and wont even speak with me, how would i start to leave and i can go to live with ym buddy joey he said he wants me to if i leave, hes one of my best friends brother and he means the world to me, and i want to live with him adn my friends, but i woudl help pay rent ect... how woudl i leave home and how should i approach my parents, cause my dad woudl scream and mom woudl cry and i wont take it anymore... i'm tired of geting treated like shit... thanks guys!

Sort of screw'd really, do you honestly feel your the only kid in the world getting screw'd emotionally by their parents? Are even the frist kid to even think about leaving the house? Give them some respect too, ether you take this all the way. Or you confront your parents on how their making it emotionally impossible to function in their house anymore and you need to be with people who can relate with you, not tolerate you.
