In the movie (and musical) "The Producers," Max Bialystock, played by Nathan Lane, says something in the song (which was a deleted scene in the movie) "The King of Broadway" that is supposedly in Yiddish. The line is, "Maxella, alle menschen muss zu machen, jeden tug a gentzen kachen!" what does this mean? Is there some joke there that's just going over my head? please help!!!
I am not Jewish! I was hoping someone who was would give us the translation as I always wanted to know what the heck it meant also. I have tried to translate it with the help of my rusty German because of course German is very close to Yiddish Uganda : Fruit Farmers to Reap From Coca-Cola, Gates Project Thanks for visiting!

Arranging Broadway Producers Show Tickets
There are very few Yiddish English dictionaries on line and most of them are the slang expressions. So far this is what I have: Maxella (I think this is just a way of saying Maxie) All people must be (made?) every day _ _____ _______. I am not sure about the 'made'. Kachen could be a slang word to defecate. So maybe he is saying that every day everyone should have a bowel movement! I am still working on this.
If I get anymore I will edit my answer. EDIT: finally! I found this on a Broadway fans chatsite. One of the posters asked her Yiddish grandfather: All men (or people ) must poop and
pee. There is probably a little more to it than that but you get the drift!
Kampala — FIFTY thousand small scale fruit farmers in Uganda and Kenya will benefit from sh23b four-year project of selling their fruits to Coca-Cola. This was revealed by Nathan Kalumbu, the Coca-Cola east and central Africa business unit's president.
