How Will My Scanner On My HP Officejet 7310 work?

I have already installed the drivers and software but when I place a photo to be scanned the printer/scanner is telling me to install or run software for the feature???? I am getting frustrated, please HELP ME!!!!!!!! I have done everything I can think of, any suggestions? Thanks

As you already installed the drivers, try scanning from scanners and cameras wizard in the control panel.

Click on " Start " button ---- > "control panel" --- > "scanners and cameras" check whether you scanner is listed there, if listed double click on the scanner icon and follow the on screen instruction to scan an image.

if you are able to scan, then you need to install the full feature drivers.
