Calligraphy is an artistic style of lettering. Aesthetics of this stylish lettering system helped it earn its place among all visual art forms. The historic perspective of its evolution as a technique as well as skill also supports its categorization among the art forms. It was initially a vehicle of preserving religious texts. But today it is a means of designer lettering for invitation cards of events, nameplates, memorial documents, and certificates, inscriptions on various media like stone or metal plates, fine art pieces and also for designing logos.

It has been evolved on different parts of the globe in different manners. The conspicuous lines of evolutions have been distinguished as Western, Middle Eastern and Oriental. While Western calligraphy has maintained a singular dimension of evolution, Middle Eastern calligraphy has two branches, viz, Islamic or Arabic and Persian and Oriental calligraphy has evolved differently over discreet geographic regions as China and its imperial occupations in Japan and Korea, as South Asia comprising India, Nepal and Tibet. The shape, size and colors used in lettering vary in each of the three evolutionary trends; so varies the tools.

Basically the Latin writing system has evolved into Western calligraphy. Yet there are lesser involvement of Greek and Cyrillic alphabet writing styles, too. The first formed calligraphy for Book of Gospels was Carolingian. It gradually transformed into Gothic with sharply pointed letters and its rounder yet heavy looking variation was Rotunda. The later was a favorite in Italy and Spain while the former was a preference for the rest of the Europe. Gutenberg's bible used the Gothic style.

The Middle Eastern styles are two distinct evolutionary lines. The older Persian style is eminent for its nail shaped lettering in horizontal, vertical and diagonal directions. It was developed during 6th century BC and continued to be used in monument inscriptions. After a millennium, with the advent of Arabic style it merged into the path of evolution of Arabic calligraphy. Arabic form is better known as Islamic form as it unites works of Islamic artists all over the globe. This has mainly been used to decorate ceilings and walls of mosques.

The Oriental Calligraphy has historically been dominated by Chinese forms. The evolutionary history of this art is rooted in ancient bone inscriptions with Jiaguwen characters whose brush-drawn counterparts sank into oblivion. Through the unification of the vast landmass, since pre-Christian era, different Chinese rulers attempted to regularize single Calligraphic form and styles all over the territory. But the culturally variant political unit spread over the vast landmass kept on practising local forms, even informally.

Indian Calligraphy was initiated during the 2nd Century BC, during the reign of Asoka by introduction of Brahmi and Kharoshi scripts. They were chiefly used in stone inscriptions. Nepalese style is a much younger than other styles over the globe. It started with the spread of Mahayana and Bajrayana sects of Buddhism. But the original style has been derived into many forms which later on migrated to distant parts of South and South-east Asia. Tibetan Calligraphy inherited India scripts. They are evidently found on Buddhist prayer wheels even today.

Tools differs widely between Western and oriental world. While Western world has chosen pens of flat and round nibs and occasionally brushes, the Oriental practitioners preferred to use brushes of different kinds of hairs. The later creates variations in outputs using different bases. However, both the schools subscribed to ink as the sole medium. Contemporary western world is empowered with pens of ink cartridges.

Gamer Oblivion Cheats

Invisibility Method - Chameleon 100%

The first thing to do is acquire some cash - about 10000+ of gold. I recommend selling High Quality equipment such as Daedric items for this purpose. Next go to the Red Diamond Jewelry in the Market District of the Imperial City and then buy the Spectre Ring. Sometimes it might not be there. I think that an npc might have stolen it from the shop. Now head to the Arcane University within the Imperial City (you will need to have completed the recommendation quests to enter the back door). Bring along two Soul Gems that contain Grand level souls. Enchant an Amulet or Necklace with 20% Chameleon. Enchant another item with Chameleon (but not a Ring or Amulet). You will need some space for the Amulet that you made and for another Ring you will need. I recommend you use Shoes or Headgear for the second item. If you equip the Spectre Ring and the two Chameleon items, you will have a nice 65% of constant affect Chameleon. But don't stop there. Once you have reached the level of 17 or higher, go to Meridia's Shrine (west of Skingrad). Bring some Ectoplasm or Bonemeal. Do the quest. If you finish it you will receive the Ring of Khajiiti. Equip it. You will have the Chameleon effect of a full 100%, which will make you Invisible. That never goes away if you still have your items on. This should stop most enemies from ever seeing you.

Bound those Boots for Acrobatics

After you gain the Boots of Spring, heel Jack from doing one of the Thieves Guild missions. Wear the shoes and use a spell to bound your boots. You will permanently gain 50 points to your Acrobatics skill.

Having a party that can never die

After finishing the Kvatch mission, clearing the city near the very beginning of the game Brother Martin will follow you. Take him to the City to meet the other monks, priests and the blade master. When you arrive there, you will have to fight some Mythic Dawn members. After the attack, Brother Martin and another Priest will follow you to hide Brother Martin in the cloud ruler's temple. These characters can never die. Let them follow you around, visit any cave and let them kill the monsters for you. They will attack anything that will harm you before you can even swing your weapon.

Infinite Gold

Find Dorian in the Imperial City after bribing him a lot and making him hate you. Keep bribing him. This may take a couple of minutes. Now you can kill him. Try doing it quietly. If you make too much noise it will attract the guards. When he dies, go to his corps and collect his gold. It does not go away - which means infinite gold.

Sick items

Umbra's Sword: Fort East of Imperial City, on Umbra put it on easy and kill her.

Staff of Worms (The Necromancer's Staff): Arch Mage reward.

Bloodworm Helm: Dissent in the Council Quests for mages guild.

Necromancer's Amulet good for magic users: Same mage quest as above.

Cuirass of the Savior's Hide: Molag Bal's Quest.

Spell-casting Trick for Super High Jumps

Here is a set of spell casting tricks to give you the ability to do super high jumps. You get a birds eye view of the world map.

1st Spell: Weakness to Fire %3 for 1 sec Weakness to Magika 0 for 1 sec Fortify Acrobatics 25 pts for 20 sec Fortify Magika 25 pts for 20 sec 2nd spell: Weakness to Fire %3 for 1 sec on self Weakness to Magika 0 for 1 sec on self Fortify Acrobatics 50 pts for 10 sec on self Fortify Magika 50 pts for 10 sec on self Cast the 2 spells. You might need a few magika potions to get through the first part to restore your Magika, however, you're Magika will now be very high. Cast about 30 or so times and your Acrobatics skill will now be around 150k+.

NOTE: You can do this with any skill you can think of and you will still have all kinds of different effects, however, when tested with speed, you will end up running over city walls and then the game will never render. It's fun to run around, but eventually it will freeze the game, which is not a very clever thing to do. Save before doing anything as the big fall on the map may kill you unless you cast the spells on the way down. Arrested? Not a Problem. When you are about to get arrested by the city guard quickly enter your inventory and drop all stolen items that you have. Then you get to go back afterwards and get them. Jump and have fun!

Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Imperial Corruption trouble?

I can not start the quest i have talked to luronk and his friend in market district and his their houses and i have check multiple times for a month in game time. any ideas? i have completed most of the side quests already (only about 5 left) and am lvl 48 and i am up to bruma gate in the main story line. any help would be much apreciated

i dont know about the other stuff, but the bruma gate is a bit harder than the other gates, you have a time limit for a huge daedric machine thats slowly making its way to the gate to get out of the daedric realm and cause havok in cyrodiil (you have about 15 mins to do this but its very confusing) , and i suggest you save your game right before you go into the gate so if you die or dont get the gate closed in time then you can easily start it again :)

Buddhism's arrival, Shinto's endurance
In A.D. 552 (or 538 — experts disagree; some say it never happened) a Korean envoy presented himself at the Japanese court of Emperor Kimmei. The Korea of that time was split among several perpetually warring kingdoms. The three largest were Kokuli, Silla and Paikche. The envoy was from Paikche, whose defenses were buckling under attack by Silla.
