Another great place to shop for Nintendo Classic products is Amazon. They have more than just books! Here are some more information for Nintendo Classic: The range of Nintendo Wii exclusive Beat Em Up titles continues to grow This Year, as following hot on the heels of Tatsunoko vs Capcom we have an entirely new title; Wii's Tournament of Legends. From developers High Voltage, this title is the first in a proposed franchise of weapons-based fighters. Wii's Tournament of Legends is based around Greek and Roman mythology, featuring fighters based on legends from that era. Each character is armed with a unique weapon, but as the single player mode progresses this weapon can be augmented and levelled up with different abilities, which helps to make combat quite varied. The gameplay is as standard for a Beat Em Up, but a few interesting additions have been thrown in. The camera actually pans to favour the player dealing the most damage, so if you're administering quite a thrashing to your opponent the camera will zoom in on your moves. Furthermore, each stage in Wii's Tournament of Legends features a 'Guardian', an NPC who will run in at random intervals to attack you and your opponent. These attacks can be dodged or countered, and add an extra dynamic to the system. The Wii remote and Nunchuk are both employed in Wii's Tournament of Legends, and each controller corresponds to either your right or left arm as you attack and block. However, control pad support is included for those that prefer the old school way. This title is shaping up to be another great little Wii Beat Em Up. The combat is looking solid enough and the little extras help to spice up a tried and tested formula. The subject matter is refreshing and makes a decent change to the usual range of characters we'd normally see. Wii's Tournament of Legends is released this summer, and could well be worth checking out! Rich Thorp is known to many people as an avid gamer aand lover of the gaming lifestyle.
