Dive In Movie Nights

Many people today long for nostalgic activities.  People love to remember the days of yesterday, remembering things that they did as kids or young adults.  One of these nostalgic events that has gone by the wayside is outdoor movies and drive in movies.  These were extremely popular up until new technology came out, which is unfortunate.

Outdoor public movies have all but gone away in the day and age of HDTV, surround sound, and mega movie theaters.  Many people think it is unfortunate that this pasttime has almost gone away.  This could be something that is completely forgotten by the next generation.

There is a way to mix this favorit pasttime with the modern era.  You can do this with what is called a dive in movie.  Dive in movies are aptly named because they involve watching a movie while floating in a pool.

Dive in movies utilize an inflatable movie screen or other movie screen to project a movie next to a pool.  This is very fun for people because they can theme their party very well.

For example, if you were throwing a luau party, you could throw a dive in movie pool party while showing a movie.  This would allow you to theme your party around a luau theme while entertaining them with a movie.  Just be sure not to show a movie about a man-eating shark!

Try a dive-in movie for your next party.  Blow up a screen, serve up some food and drink, invite some great guests, and do a dive in movie.  You will be glad you did!

What kind of food should I put in a gift basket, for movie night?

It's going to be a movie night gift basket for my boyfriend, it's for our 2 year annversy, and I cant buy him stuff , like video games or high price things like that , so instend I'm going to make a basket , any ideas.

4. Candy: Reeses' cups, sourpatch kids, hershey bars, laffytaffy
Dots, Malted Milk Balls, Raisinettes (you can often
get 2 for the price of one)
5. Your favorite soft drink or sparkling cider
6. A gift book you make yourself with coupons he can redeem
when he wants, such as "Good for one free kiss" or "Good for
one free back rub". Use your imagination and have fun!
7. Have someone take a couple of polaroids of you and buy an
inexpensive frame for them. They make a nice addition!
