Move photos from one memory card to another?

So I have my camera that had a memory card in it. I took pictures that are now saved on my memory card. I took these pictures for a class. When I go to that class, I need to have my camera, with the memory card in it. So I need that memory card with the pics for my class because of the size (its bigger than my other memory card) and I need it for something else. Is there a way to take photos from one memory card and put them on another memory card?

How about you just do what the rest of us do?

Copy all the images from your memory card to your computer and then format the card using the format feature on your camera. If you need to have access to the older image files, burn a CD of them or put them on a thumb drive and carry the image files with you to class.

You do know that you are allowed to own more than one memory card and that they are very inexpensive if you buy them on sale? I just bought an 8 gb card for under $25. Can you imagine what a 1 gb card might cost you?
