Another great place to shop for Masi Oka products is Amazon. They have more than just books! Here are some more information for Masi Oka: NBC's hit TV show "Heroes" kicks off it's second season This Year. One month later, fans of the show can head to their local comic book store to pick up the "Heroes" hardcover comic book collection published by DC Comics. This stunning hardcover collects the amazing online comics based on the smash-hit, Emmy Award-nominated NBC show HEROES! This volume, featuring two amazing covers by comics legends Jim Lee and Alex Ross, also includes an introduction by Masi Oka (Hiro), all 34 chapters of Season One, (which originally appeared on the "Heroes" website), and Tim Sale's artwork as seen on the show. The comics included have been written and illustrated by some of comics' and television's top writers and artists, including Michael Turner, Phil Jimenez, Marcus To, and more! "The demand for 'Heroes' comic books has been huge," states Marc Bowker, owner of Alter Ego Comics in Lima, Ohio. "We've had people coming into the store since the very first episode aired asking for these things." Bowker added, "hopefully, the 'Heroes' hardcover will pave the way for new, printed comic books based on the TV show." It's no surprise to comic book fans that "Heroes" is coming to comic book stores, and that it's been such a huge hit. One of the show's producers is Jeph Loeb, a veteran comic book writer best known for writing top notch Superman and Batman comic books. Loeb's frequent collaborator, artist Tim Sale, did all of the artwork seen on the show's first season. Another tip of the hat to the show's comic book roots was the guest appearance of Marvel Comics' Chairman Emeritus, Stan Lee, as a bus driver in one episode. "If someone is a fan of 'Heroes,' I can almost guarantee that they'll find something that they'll like at their local comic book store," says Bowker. Sideshow Collectibles and Medicom Toys Heroes' second season is set to air on September, and the highly watched show's fans can hardly wait. Add to that the tour that has been recently launched to promote the series’ first season in the international market, fans are really on a hype now that rumors of the possible events that may take place in the second season are circulating. The question that seems to bother everyone, though is what direction will the story be taking? The last we saw of our Heroes, they were able to prevent some huge disaster from taking place, with a little consequences on the side. Hiro (Masi Oka) was thrown into the distant past in the episode "Generations." Fans were surprised when David Anders, formerly from CSI, was cast for the show. He was supposed to be playing a thousand year old character named Kane, but it was reported that the blue-eyed, blond haired actor will be playing a Samurai master. A common theme that was prominent in the series was that each hero had at least one relative who also had a superhuman power, thus their abilities were basically passed on from generation to generation. Considering this, it is speculated that the second season will not focus on what happens after the finale of season one, but instead before everything actually took place. Hiro was already reported to be spending some time in feudal Japan, thus linking it all to Ander's role as the Samurai master. The question lies, what is it about lineage that plays a role in the overarching world of Heroes? If people with superhuman abilities did exist for over a thousand years, why is it that they are coming into the limelight just now? Apparently season two hold the answers to these questions, and even the ones it may pose along the way.
