What do i do with my cat on this long trip?

So, my cat (which i love) idk what to do with it. My family and i are going to Lake Tahoe for 4 days. I don't think it'd be a good idea to take the cat. If we leave him at home, he has to go to the bathroom... but whenever we open the door to the bathroom, he usually leaves the house for a few hours.. if we left him with someone else??... wouldn't it be a little too weird for him>? what do i do with poor little king neptune?

You really can't take the cat with you. It will be very scared, won't know what's happening, and will do it's best to run away.
Don't you have any cat boarding kennels nearby that can take the cat for the time you'll be away? It might be a bit expensive, but at least your family will know that the cat's being looked after.

Otherwise, make sure there's plenty of kitty litter in it's litter box, and get a neighbour to feed the cat twice a day.
