If a woman has it, do you agree that she should be able to "flaunt it" if she wants to?

I don't mean boobs but having a great figure. If your answer is no, why not? The reason I am asking this is because I noticed that in general some women get catty and make snide remarks around girls who have a great body and show it off. What got me asking this was watching American Idol a moment ago, in which a contestant (Katrina Darrell) auditioned in bikinis and to be fair she sang really well too but one of the judges (Kara Dioguardi) got pissy and pretty rude about it.

I noticed the same thing too. Many women get jealous and catty toward another girl they deem as a threat. Especially when the girl has a great body and confidently shows it.

A lot of women want to use the excuse that "It's degrading to women and she's being a slut blah blah blah".

The sad fact is, there will always be generalizations in this world. One women does not make up the whole esteem of the entire population of women on this earth. What one women may find as degrading, another may find it perfectly fine.

The real problem isn't the girl being a slut because there will always be sluts in the world. That's just life. Get over it. The real problem is women who have insane jealousy because they're insecure about themselves and feel that if any other women flaunts what they have, it's immediately slutty or whoreish (not real words, but you get my point). It's coming to the point where showing off your body or thinking highly of yourself physically is being automatically labeled as prideful (and in this case) slutty. I personally think what Katrina Darrell wore was inappropriate, but I'm not gonna sit here and dwell on that fact or make ridiculous assumptions about her. As soon as she walked through the girl in that bikini with her boasty attitude, at least a million people instantly thought "Watch. She's going to suck." Just because it's become natural for us the rag on people who know what they can do and what they have and assume they're bad at what the can do.

It's all a part of the assumptions, mental and emotional reflexes, and of course, generalizations. I mean, think about it. We all quickly assumed Simon and Randy put her through because she was in a bikini...why? Because they were men.

So that was an assumption AND a generalization.
