Mario predictably races off to lend a hand, but no sooner has he stepped away from the always popular Peach, than he sees Bowser Jr. step into the picture and drag her away. As mario pursues them throughout both overworld and underworld, the appearance of Bowser and the Koopas shows that the list of fiends opposing him is longer than he expected. But Mario is not one to be put off by such things. Come along with Mario, Luigi and other friends as they venture into the depths of the Mushroom Kingdom to get Peach back once again. Gameplay Although New Super Mario Bros. is a modern addition to the Mario Bros. tome, it revels in the fact that it is an old school side-scrolling platformer through and through. The single player mode is set on 80 levels spread across eight worlds, with players assuming the role of either Mario or Luigi. As in all Mario Bros. games, the ultimate goal is to rescue Peach, but as players traverse game levels the immediate goal is to collect coins, hop on top of enemies, and break open blocks while searching for power-ups as you race to capture the flag at the end of each level. Each of the game's eight worlds climaxes with a boss battle tied into the abduction of Peach, in which players will need to utilize the game's six power-ups in order to have success. Along with its single player mode New Super Mario Bros. for DS also features two different multiplayer modes. The first is the Mario vs. Luigi, 2-player competitive mode. Here it's brother vs. brother in a literal race for Stars. Players choose to play as either Mario or Luigi, with the goal to collect the Stars that appear throughout the stage at timed intervals. If one brother gets a star(s) first they can be stolen away by the other player by doing damage. The one who gets to the set number of stars wins. This mode uses local wireless DS Single-Card download play, so only one game card is needed. The other multiplayer mode revolves around mini-game play. There are variety of these, which can be engaged in on a one-on-one basis, or in tournament fashion with 2-4 players. The Power-ups. New Super Mario for DS contains contains six power-up options. Three of these, the Super Mushroom, the Fire Flower and the Starman are back from previous games. There are also three entirely new to the game, these being: the Blue Koopa Shell, which Mario can crawl into to protect himself and spin when inside it to attack enemies; the Mega Mushroom, which allows for a huge Mario; and the Mini-Mushroom, which makes Mario very small and able to get into places that wouldn't otherwise be available. Here are some more information for Japan Nds:

Gba and Nds Games
GBA and NDS games
In early 2003, Nintendo upgraded the Game Boy Advance giving it an internal front-light that can be turned on or off, a rechargeable lithium ion battery, as well as a folding case approximately half the original size. It was designed to address some common complaints with the original Game Boy Advance which was criticized for being very uncomfortable. The Game Boy Advance SP also came with a new and much brighter LCD screen for improved playability.
Around the same time as the release of the Game Boy Micro, Nintendo released a new backlit version of the SP in North America (commonly referred to as the "GBA SP+"). The switch that controls the light now toggles between "normal" (which itself is already brighter than the original Game Boy Advance SP's screen), and "bright," an intense brightness level similar to an LCD television set.
In September 2005, Nintendo released a second redesign of the Game Boy Advance. This model, dubbed the Game Boy micro, is similar in style to the original Game Boy Advance's horizontal orientation, but is much smaller and sleeker. The Game Boy micro also allows the user an ability to switch between several colored faceplates to allow customization, a feature which Nintendo advertised heavily around the Game Boy micro's launch. Nintendo also hoped that this "fashion" feature will help target audiences outside of typical video game players, much like its new Wii. Unlike the previous Game Boy Advance models, Game Boy micro is unable to support Game Boy and Game Boy Color titles.
Nintendo's competitors in the handheld market were the Neo Geo Pocket Color, Bandai Swan Crystal, Game Park 32, Tapwave Zodiac and the Nokia N-Gage. Despite the competitors' best efforts, Nintendo maintained its majority market share with the Game Boy Advance.
To date, Nintendo has sold 80,500,000 GBA units around the world. Over half of those in the Americas and 16 million in Japan at second place.
The Game Boy Advance has become the modern flagship of sprite-based games. With hardware superior to the Super NES it has proven that sprite-based technology could improve and live side by side with the 3D games of today's consoles. The Game Boy Advance not only has one's typical platformers, but also a huge collection of SNES-style RPGs. It has also become a popular system for old-school gamers due to the increasing amount of games ported from various 8-bit and 16-bit systems of the previous era. Through the use of flash cartridges and emulators the Game Boy Advance can even play NES and TurboGrafx-16 games, as well as AGI-based Sierra On-Line PC adventure games.
Nintendo owners enjoy a huge selection of Nintendo games from Sport, Action and Adventure to Simulation, Strategy and Edutainment.
The best selling game of all times is Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, Released in March 2003 was sold at over 13 million copies.
An updated list of all GBA games can be found on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Game_Boy_Advance_games
Nowadays you can find many websites that sell Nintendo games online, where you can also find rare classics in affordable prices and games that are mostly unreachable in stores.
My personal favorite, “Games – advance” is an online store with, by far, the largest online selection of both new releases and rare classics and both original and 3rd party Nintendo accessories. Prices are very reasonable and the selection is huge. You can check them out at: www.games-advance.com

R4 DS off volume rate?
I want to buy R4 DS and I found 1 site called www.volumerate.com. I was wondering if it is reliable and how much the shipping cost for the R4 NDS with 1 GB/2 GB Kingston Japan TF Card to Ireland would be.
Also I was wondering do you get the CD to help you set up the R4 NDS in the package if not do you need the CD to set the R4 up.
I asked the websites help line but they did not reply.
Thanks
My regards to the shipping from the previous answer But the Disc does include some very useful tools like the ROM Trimmer which can decrease the unnessesary data on a normal ROM, and it comes with a .sav transformer which can covert any save file for your R4 that way if you have a different DS homebrew card you can swap your saves or you can download saves off the internet.
Hope that helped
Cable Show 2010: 3DTV Work Left To Be Done
While cable operators can deliver 3DTV today in a "frame compatible" mode to viewers, there is still a considerable amount of work and research left to be done to improve the experience and quality of a stereoscopic video delivered to the home, industry experts said on a panel here at the Cable Show.
