Prince Gong’s Mansion - a Symbol of Imperial China and Its Lifestyle

Constructed around the year 1777, Prince Gong’s Mansion is a significant landmark in Beijing being one of the largest and best locations depicting the Qing Dynasty era. The Grand Theater House built with timber is located in the eastern part of the garden. The new Les Miserables?

Can someone who is very familier with the show tell me the main differences between the new production on Broadway (Broadhurst Theatre) and the old production (The Imperial Theatre). Also why was it revived so quickly. It seemed like it closed and reopened within a year or two. Also any links that describe the differences would be great!

Spicificaly was wondering if they "scaled down" the production at all. Or if it is pretty much the same set the show has always had?

Most Les Mis productions stick faithfully to the original story.

So I can't see any differences except for approaches to the props and different actors of course.

Every production is wonderful if you love the story like I do.

I'm Not the Only One
Rob Loughran, writing about Afghanistan in the Feb. 3 issue of the Bohemian ("Go to Your God," Open Mic), could be right that the United States is just another imperial power like Britain or Persia, sure to meet "defeat" in the Afghan/Pakistan theater.
