the best time to visit the Hollywood Walk of Fame?

Is there any non-peak hours in and around the Hollywood Walk of Fame? I visited Hollywood a few weeks ago and it was really crowded around 2 AM on a Friday night. Does anyone have any suggestions the best time/day to visit this tourist attraction. Thank you for your time. From Whittier, California
