Family Guy Live in Vegas

The cartoon series Family Guy is experiencing a network revival these days, and the CD, Family Guy Live in Las Vegas, is undoubtedly just part of the planned marketing blitz. Not exactly a soundtrack, this disc contains mostly new material created specifically for the album, all performed with Vegas lounge panache. Freed from the constraints of television, series producer Seth MacFarlane tells viewers of the bonus DVD that the comedy on this disc will be "edgier." While Family Guy was never known for subtlety, most of the tracks on this disc are as heavy handed and mean-spirited as hitting someone over the head with a baseball bat. "All Cartoons Are F***** D**ks," with a guest appearance by Jason Alexander, is sort of funny, and the TV medley sung by Brian and Stewie is enjoyable (although it's overstayed its welcome by the time they get to the "Who's the Boss" theme). Other tracks like "Puberty's Gonna Get Me," and "'Q' Man Loves Nobody" are just painful. Perhaps the most entertaining part of this package is Stewie's "Sexy Party" video, which is found on the DVD. This disc holds promise for Family Guy fans and anyone who's driven to hysterical giggles by the word "balls." For othersnot so much. --Leah Weathersby

Family Guy Character Review Giggity Giggity
What is the deal with the character from Family guy Stewie? Obviously he is a baby. A very intelligent and diabolical baby. This television program has raised more than a few questions, and supplied limited answers not to mention, quite a bit of controversy.
OK, we all saw the episode where Stewie turns a year old, so it is not a huge surprise that he speaks (even though he sounds more like a thirty year old), but why does he have a British accent, when the family lives in Rhode Island, in the United states? Anyone who has heard a Rhode Island accent, or for that matter any New England accent can see just how funny this truly is. Also Brian can understand him, but no one else can? Or are they just ignoring the little dictator in the making?
Why is Stewie intent on killing Lois? Why does he really hate her so much? In fact does he really hate her at all? We have probably all seen the episodes that suggest that he does not. In fact, perhaps he is desperately in need of her love. It seems that the story line has suggested this on at least several occasions.
How is it that Brian is able to travel anywhere that he wants to alone? On trains, on airplanes, he even drives the car. Why does no one ever stop him? Why is no one surprised when they see him, or especially when he talks? Even Ted Kennedy had trouble in his life getting past airport security, but not Brian... Brian has had many girlfriends on this program. Only one of them happened to be a dog. The rest were all human women. Do they not see that he is a dog. Even while he is peeing on fire hydrants, and dragging himself across the carpet?
Okay Brian was abandoned as a pup( sort of), but what is with the heavy drinking? Half of the time he is plastered. Maybe this has something to do with why he met Peter while spit washing his windshield. Do other dogs have this problem? Is this why so many of them find themselves in homeless dog shelters? perhaps all that this poor fellow needs is a warm bowl of soup, a good night sleep, and a job.
What is the story with Meg? The entire family seems to hate her. Half of the time, Peter can not even remember her name, or who she is. During one episode, Meg thinks she is pregnant, and decides to get married. She decides to invite girlfriends over for bachelorette party. The next thing you know, the door flies open and in comes a male stripper, it is Peter... Where the heck is DCF?.
Yes Peter is indeed a buffoon. It seems that there's not much that he can get right. However at the same time, something very endearing about this character, which makes people root for him. Perhaps it has something to do with wanting the best for the underdog. Everything that Peter does is not completely screwed up. After all, he did take the family to Natick and found the Twinkie factory after the town blew up. Never mind what happened next, because it is typical Peter messing everything up again.
Satire? Sarcasm? Closer to life than some may like to admit? I guess we will all have to judge for ourselves. Either way, Family Guy is a pretty popular show, and pretty amusing... Giggity!

Stewie from Family guy making fun of the way high-school girls talk?
Hello,
I just remembered a scene from Family Guy, where Stewie says something to Brian (I think) in the lines of: "and they accentuate every other WOOORD like... um... you know... THIIIIS"
He is making fun of the way a stereotypical high-school girl would speak.
Does anyone know from which episode this is ?
I think you're mis-remembering the situation. This sounds a lot like when Stewie tries to convince Brian to break up with Jillian because the relationship isn't going to work out. In the end Brian can't break up with her because she's so hot.
Check this clip and see if it is what you remember. The volume is BAD but it is the only one I can find on YouTube.

Whistle While Your Wife Works
Season: 5 Episode: 5
The McStroke episode was funny but he was talking that way to fit in. He didn't make fun of the way schoolgirls talked at all in that one.
