You have people like Rosie O'Donnell being against guns, but her bodyguards carry them. Susan Sarandon is all for environmentalism, but she has a personal jet. Johnny Depp doesn't like America, but he gets rich from American movies. Why the hypocrisy? Or is it just that their hypocrisy gets exploited because they're in the limelight?

I think that the Hollywood mechanism exploits and promotes a "holier than thou" attitude. Celebrities feel that they have a bully pulpit to expouse their views, but are mortally offended when we in the real world react harshly. Truth is, their opinion matters no more than mine, but their pampered, someone powder their bottom for them world makes them feel they have the upper hand.
