Guitar Hero

Rock all day and night with the new Guitar Hero III by Nintendo. Guitar Hero III is the company's most innovative and comprehensive Rock music video experience. Loaded with music from Guns, N' Roses, Sex Pistols, The Rolling Stones, Metallica and more, the dynamic on stage sensation puts the Wii guitarist center stage in dazzling new arenas and accompanied by hand-picked action packed musicians.

Nintendo has stepped up the graphics and put out a new line of prospective band members that enable the lead guitarist to take the stage with hand selected backups. The new arenas have sparkling lighting effects and all the commotion enthused audiences generate. Adding to the vivid setting improvements are the wireless Les Gibson guitar controllers. Practice your moves and let your music persona erupt with this technologically advanced musical weapon.

At the center of Guitar Hero III is a compilation of 40 years of memorable rock music from various genres. Nintendo's sound track takes in all the best and lets the guitarist jam with the best doing their best. The best from Europe and the best from America have come together and Wii guitarists can now reap the rewards. When entering Crank Level 11, let it all hang out.

Guitarists Slash and Tom Morello put together amazing original sounds for Nintendo. Combining their talents with Living Colour's Grammy Winner Cult of Personality will challenge the most accomplished Guitar Hero III player. There's just nothing like working the kinks out of new songs so play and improve.

There is no time for stage fright. Take center stage with confidence and strut your stuff with all the lighting effects and bustling activity that dominates every performance. In front of you, you will see it all as the grungers, the punkers and metal fans show their wares. Let the music take over as your fellow musicians gyrate and stroke their way around the stage.

Guitar Hero III features a new arcade-styled battle of guitars mode. Play fast, play hard, play loud and play right to score bonus points and rate your score. In the Battle Power sequences, the lead guitarist will compete against either other players or the program itself to test their prowess. Success against one Boss player leads to a challenge for the next.

A revolutionary add-on to Guitar Hero III is the wireless dual control ability, which can also be used in the Battle Power Mode. Battle with your friends, your family and anyone else who has the flair. This new interaction has brought another dimension to Guitar Hero III.

The new controllers feature interchangeable faceplates that let each player style their own guitar. Show your style and bring down the house with the freedom to make your moves and kick it out. Self expression is Rock and the better you express yourself, the better your music talents will score.

Nintendo keeps improving their popular Wii games. Guitar Hero III reflects impressive technological advances made by the company. Nintendo Wii games are committed to making each game more realistic than its predecessor. And, the winner is the new Wii guitarists.

Guitar Hero Games are Very Popular for Nintendo Wii

Music has always been an important part of who we are regardless of what background you come from. There are many genres of music and they tend to cross over into just about anything we do. Most video games have music to them and we tend to either enjoy it or tune it out after a while. The concept behind the Guitar Hero games though is to become part of it.

With these particular games you get to play songs from some of your favorite bands. You get points for playing them as good as you can. Even if you have never picked up a real guitar to play before you can have a great time with it. There are colors on the neck of the guitar that you use for guidance. You can use the controller for the Wii to play it but there isn’t that same effect that you will get if you buy the guitar to play it.

The guitar for the Nintendo Wii though is an accessory you will need to buy separately. In most instances you can save money if you buy the guitar and the game together as a combination package. There are guitars you plug into the gaming console as well as wireless models. You can play alone or against someone else too. So you may want to invest in more than one guitar.

There are different versions of Guitar Hero out there to choose from. The main differences are the songs that are offered. You may like a particular type of music such as the 80’s which is offered. For many individuals in their 30’s who really enjoyed the hair band days this particular game is perfect. For a few minutes they can let go of reality and make their dreams of being a rock star come true.

People of all ages really love to play the various Guitar Hero games on their Nintendo Wii. You can choose your skill level which makes it easier to learn the basics. You can start out with the easy songs and then move forward to those that are more challenging for you. It is going to take a while to get to that stage though unless you already know how to play a guitar.

While you will really have a great deal of fun playing Guitar Hero on the Wii, you will also learn a new sense of appreciation for those who do it professionally. They may appear to have the easy life and to have everything but they have also worked very hard to learn to play the way they do.

Those who really like the Guitar Hero games for the Nintendo Wii are in for quite a treat. In October of 2008 the World Tour version will be released. It allows up to four people to play the guitar at a time. Up to eight people can play the drums if you buy that particular accessory as well. You can expect a new look with the guitar too.

It will appear to be more like what a rock star would use up there on the stage. Of course the other models of guitars that are already out there will be compatible. For the game and the new guitar you should anticipate a price of about $200.

Does Guitar hero work with a wireless wii sensor bar?

I purchased a wireless wii sensor bar since my cats chewed the wire on the other one. It has been working fine with the wii remotes, but when we try to play guitar hero 3, the guitar isn't working at all.
Does anyone know how fix this problem?

Use the analog stick on the guitar controller (it's where the pick-up selector is on a real les paul) to move the cursor on the Wii main menu. If that doesn't work, take the controller out of the body of the guitar controller, and use it to point at the TV (you don't have to disconnect it from the guitar controller's attachment cable.)

Otherwise, GH3 doesn't use IR pointing for anything.
