No one goes to a movie directed by Michael Bay for delicacy and grace; you go because Michael Bay (Armageddon, The Rock) knows how to make your bones rattle during a high-speed chase when a car flips over, spins through the air, and smacks another car with a visceral crunch. Bad Boys II fulfills this expectation and then some. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence may be mere puppets amid all this burning rubber and shrieking metal, but they actually provide a human core to the endless cascade of car wrecks and gunfights. Their easy rapport makes their personal problems--a running joke is Lawrence's attempts at anger management--as engaging as the sheer visual hullabaloo of bullets and explosions. The plot is recycled nonsense about drug lords and dead bodies being used to smuggle drugs, but orchestration of violence is symphonic. If that's your thing, then this is for you. --Bret Fetzer
Hang on for maximum mayhem full-on fun and the wildest chase scenes ever put on film! The action and comedy never stop when superstars Martin Lawrence and Will Smith reunite as out-of-control trash-talking buddy cops. Bullets fly cars crash and laughs explode as they pursue a whacked-out drug lord from the streets of Miami to the barrios of Cuba. But the real fireworks result when Lawrence discovers that playboy Smith is secretly romancing his sexy sister Gabrielle Union (Bring it On). Director Michael Bay (Pearl Harbor Armageddon) and producer Jerry Bruckheimer (Pirates of the Caribbean Black Hawk Down) deliver a high-speed high-octane blockbuster that will blow you away! Nearly 25 years after its formation, Megadeth is making its most brilliant work, a feat that some acts find unthinkable--maybe impossible--after half that time. When Mustaine sings about politics it's never in the abstract, faraway sense; his lyrics are riddled with references to the here and now--the boundaries and bombs that make the threat of war--or the threat of doom-- real. So it's no real surprise that this release features lyrics liberally peppered with references to Afghanistan, 9/11, NATO and the like. Of course, no one buys a record or a ticket to a show specifically to hear five-minute polemics and that's where Mustaine's real talent--a talent for creating ear-perking riffs and solid, carefully constructed songs--comes in. The album may require that you read the newspaper on a regular basis but it also allows you to let loose with abandon and excitement. "Never Alone... a Call to Arms," "Gears of War" and "Play for Blood" are remarkable because they recall the classic metal of Judas Priest, Diamond Head, and the like and prove that there's nothing quite like an overdriven boogie-based riff to excite the most primitive impulses in the listener. Mustaine makes a bid for commercial radio by revisiting Youthanasia's "A Tout Le Monde (Set Me Free)" with Lacuna Coil's Cristina Scabbia. It's his most emotionally honest vocal performance to date and one that will no doubt finally earn him wider critical recognition. --Jedd Beaudoin

Thus began what would become the international brand name Victorinox, a combination of Victoria, for Elsener's mother, and "inox," or stainless steel. Today, Victorinox produces watches, luggage, clothing, and, famously, Swiss Army Knives. The original product dates to 1897, when Elsener patented the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife he supplied to the Swiss Army. Following World War II, American servicemen and women shopping in PX stores shortened the name to Swiss Army Knife, which lives on in English-speaking countries around the world and has become a metaphor for versatility.

ATTRIBUTES Blade Detail: Plain Edge Blade Length (inches): 7.00 Blade Material: Carbon Steel Black Carry System: Leather Sheath USMC Handle Material: Leather Disks Overall Length (inches): 11.88
Originally manufactured for American troops fighting in World War II, this KA-BAR full-size hunting knife sports a leather handle and a 7-inch straight-edge blade made with 1095 cro-van steel. The knife features a U.S. Marine Corp. stamp and was made in the United States. Also included is a leather sheath made in Mexico. Specifications: Weight: 0.70 pounds Blade length: 7 inches Overall length: 11 7/8 inches Shape: Clip Stamp: USMC Edge angle: 20 degrees Steel: 1095 Cro-Van Grind: Flat Handle material: Leather How KA-BAR Knives Are Made Making a quality KA-BAR product requires the talent of experienced craftspeople performing dozens of processes with precision and skill. Each knife undergoes specific manufacturing processes to ensure corrosion resistance, strength, edge-holding ability, and an out-of-the-box, razor-sharp cutting edge. Some of these manufacturing processes are highlighted below. Blanking: Using a 100-ton blanking press, KA-BAR can blank out nearly 9,000 blades in one full day of operation. Tang Stamping: Tang stamping is often used to identify a product's manufacturer, the country in which the product was made, and an item number. Heat Treating: To begin the three-step heat-treat process of stainless-steel blades, KA-BAR first runs the blades through a 70-foot conveyor oven that takes approximately one hour to cycle. Cryogenic Quenching: The second step in a three-phrase heat-treat process, KA-BAR cryogenically freezes its stainless-steel blades to -120 degrees F to optimize blade performance. Tempering: Tempering stainless-steel blades for approximately seven hours in a walk-in oven enhances steel toughness. KA-BAR is well known for its three-phase heat-treat process in which tempering is the last step. Grinding: KA-BAR knives feature flat- or hollow-ground blades. Flat grinds are best for jobs in which there will be great lateral stress. Hollow grinds provide a fine, extremely sharp edge that is perfect for more delicate tasks. Leather Handle Compression: KA-BAR's famous oval-shaped leather handle construction is accomplished by compressing leather washers onto the tang, shaping and coloring them, and then fastening them on with a pinned-on butt cap. Cap/Pin Assembly: The butt cap or pommel is attached to the handle of a knife with a steel pin. The pin is inserted into the butt cap, driven part way through the tang, then ground off and painted. Inspection: Each KA-BAR knife is subject to a multiple-step inspection process before being released for shipping. Manufacturer's Warranty KA-BAR Knives warrants, to the original purchaser of the knife only, that this knife will be free from defects in material and craftsmanship under normal use and maintenance for the lifetime of the original purchaser. This limited warranty does not apply to any failure of, defect in, or damage to the knife caused by normal wear and tear or by improper use, including throwing the knife or using the blades as a can opener, chisel, pry bar, screwdriver, or digging tool or for any heavy work for which the knife was not designed. If the knife fails to satisfy this limited warranty, the company will repair or replace the knife or substitute a knife of comparable value, at the company's option. The sixth installment of the Harry Potter series begins right where The Order of the Phoenix left off. The wizarding world is rocked by the news that "He Who Must Not Be Named" has truly returned, and the audience finally knows that Harry is "the Chosen One"--the only wizard who can defeat Lord Voldemort in the end. Dark forces loom around every corner, and now regularly attempt to penetrate the protected walls of Hogwarts School. This is no longer the fun and fascinating world of magic from the first few booksâit's dark, dangerous, and scary. Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) suspects Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton) to be a new Death Eater recruit on a special mission for the Dark Lord. In the meantime, Professor Dumbledore (Michael Gambon) seems to have finally removed the shroud of secrecy from Harry about the dark path that lies ahead, and instead provides private lessons to get him prepared. It's in these intriguing scenes that the dark past of Tom Riddle (a.k.a. Voldemort) is finally revealed. The actors cast as the different young versions of Riddle (Hero Fiennes-Tiffin and Frank Dillane) do an eerily fantastic job of portraying the villain as a child. While the previous movies' many new characters could be slightly overwhelming, only one new key character is introduced this time: Professor Horace Slughorn (with a spot-on performance by Jim Broadbent). Within his mind he holds a key secret in the battle to defeat the Dark Lord, and Harry is tasked by Dumbledore to uncover a memory about Voldemort's darkest weapon--the Horcrux. Despite the long list of distractions, Harry, Ron (Rupert Grint), and Hermione (Emma Watson) still try to focus on being teenagers, and audiences will enjoy the budding awkward romances. All of the actors have developed nicely, giving their most convincing performances to date. More dramatic and significant things go down in this movie than any of its predecessors, and the stakes are higher than ever. The creators have been tasked with a practically impossible challenge, as fans of the beloved J.K. Rowling book series desperately want the movies to capture the magic of the books as closely as possible. Alas, the point at which one accepts that these two mediums are very different is the point at which one can truly enjoy these brilliant adaptations. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is no exception: it may be the best film yet. For those who have not read the book, nail-biting entertainment is guaranteed. For those who have, the movie does it justice. The key dramatic scenes, including the cave and the shocking twist in the final chapter, are executed very well. It does a perfect job of setting up the two-part grand finale that is to follow. --Jordan Thompson
Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort’s defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Even as the decisive showdown looms, romance blossoms for Harry, Ron, Hermione and their classmates. Love is in the air, but danger lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same.Product Measures: 0.5 x 5.5 x 7.5

All 22 episodes from season four--including "Lazarus Rising," "Monster Movie," "After School Special," "Jump the Shark," and "Lucifer Rising"--are featured in a six-disc set. 15 3/4 hrs. total. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital 5.1, Portuguese Dolby Digital stereo; Subtitles: English (SDH), Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Thai, French; audio commentary; featurettes; extended scenes; deleted scenes; gag reel. **22 episodes on 6 discs. 15 3/4 hrs.**
When a television series opens its new season with a lead character crawling out of his grave after escaping Hell itself, one cannot help but wonder: how will the rest of the episodes ever follow that? In the case of Supernatural's fourth season, the answer comes from above with the introduction of Misha Collins's Castiel, an angel dispatched to rescue Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) from infernal torment and reunite him with brother Sam (Jared Padalecki) for a very special mission. That quest--to stop the demonic Lilith from opening the 66 seals required to bring Lucifer to Earth and launch the Apocalypse--forms the backbone of the 22 episodes, which takes some fairly adventurous risks with the core of the show. Chief among these is the rift that deepens between Dean and Sam as they attempt to work together, despite their divergent destinies; also agreeable is the season's tonal shift away from its previous Monster of the Week format (though that's still intact for many episodes) and toward a single, more ambitious story and thematic arc. The sea change deepens the show's drama, intensifies the level of suspense and stakes in each episode, and pushes it several big steps away from its teen-friendly origins. Of course, there's still plenty of the show's trademark irreverence and humor to be found, especially in the clever "Monster Movie," which pits the brothers against a Shapeshifter that takes the form of classic movie fiends, and "The Monster at the End of This Book," where Sam and Dean discover a comic book with plot lines very similar to their own lives. By the time Supernatural's fourth season reaches its cliffhanger ending with "Lucifer Rising" (the title neatly sums up the plot), viewers should be fairly hungering for the next episode--a good sign that a veteran series is still hitting its stride. Extras on the six-disc set include commentary for three episodes: "In the Beginning," with executive producer Eric Kripke and writer Jeremy Carver; "When the Levee Breaks," with director Robert Singer and writer Sara Gamble; and "Lucifer Rising" with Kripke. Extended scenes are also available for several episodes, and the features are rounded out by a trio of somewhat ponderous featurettes on the concepts of Heaven, Purgatory, and Hell, as depicted in scenes from the show and discussed by its writers, theologians, paranormal investigators, and the like. Clocking in between 10 and 25 minutes apiece, the docs feel padded and somewhat undernourished in the information department. However, they're unlikely to detract from one's enjoyment of this stellar season. --Paul Gaita

Here are some more information for Gears War:

The Xbox 360 has been a massive success as compared to its predecessor. While the Nintendo Wii has become the favorite of casual gamers, for hardcore gamers, the Xbox 360 still remains the console of choice, even trumping the formidable Sony PlayStation 3. Sony, despite coming off the grand success of its earlier console - the PS2 - had trouble matching the quality of games on offer with the Xbox 360.
Part of the reason, of course, is the incredible lineup of exclusive games for XBox 360. Some of the most popular games ever made, such as Halo, Gears of War, etc. are all exclusive to Xbox 360. With the Kinect, Microsoft has taken things even further in terms of gameplay.
No list of top Xbox 360 games would be complete without a mention of the famous Halo series. The Halo games are a cultural phenomenon with millions of units sold worldwide. They've spawned a whole industry trading in comic books, graphic novels, toys, merchandise, and even a movie in the works. Master Chief, the protagonist of the games, has become an enduring cultural symbol.
The second best exclusive Xbox 360 game has to be Gears of War. One of the first exclusive game to be released for the console, Gears of War featured spectacular visuals and an exciting, innovative gameplay. Though the storyline was a bit ham-fisted, it provided for a lot of fun nonetheless. Gears of War 2 followed the original and was met with the same enthusiastic response. No gamer worth his salt would have a library that does not include this classic game.
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction is another title that is a must have in any gamer's library. The Splinter Cell series of games features one of the most recognizable protagonists in 'Sam Fisher' and gameplay mechanics that have endured the test of time. Splinter Cell: Conviction carries forward the same tradition albeit with some major changes that have made it a favorite among console gamers.
So there you have it: 3 of the top exclusive Xbox 360 games that should be in any gamer's library.

Civil War Battles Fought By Amateurs
A large percentage of Civil War soldiers, both Union and Confederate, were amateurs. This applied more to the enlisted men than to the armies' officers. The majority of Civil War officers were trained military professionals and had attended and graduated from West Point. Many of these officers had also seen service in the Mexican War and other conflicts. The enlisted men were largely volunteers; city business men, factory workers and farmers who had taken up arms for whichever cause appealed to their personal beliefs and then fought for their respective republics.
Lincoln’s top general, Winfield Scott, had fought with volunteers during the Mexican War and didn’t appreciate them as soldiers. He had found the untrained volunteers to be unruly, unskilled and generally men that didn’t take to following orders. In his eyes these qualities made them useless as soldiers and not fit for battle. Whether Scott’s viewpoint was valid or not was moot. The Union had plenty of weapons but not enough men to make up an army needed for the war building on the horizon.
Lincoln put out a call for 75,000 militia and other volunteers to enlist for three months on 15th of April 1861. This was the how long he thought it would take the Union army to put down the rebellion and bring the southern states back to the Union. He got his 75,000 volunteers and more. Jefferson Davis had called for and got more than 100,000 men in the South for one year enlistments. Both the Union Army as well as a new Confederate Army was now ready for the bloodiest war in American history.
General Scott pleaded with President Lincoln for time to train his volunteers and to get the supply services in place needed to sustain his Army because he knew that his newly formed army was far from ready to go into battle against an armed enemy. Few if any of the men had any training in combat, strategy or in the use of their weapons. This extensive warfare training would take more time than Lincoln had to give because of the intense pressure he was getting from Congress and the public to bring the war to a quick end and a victory for the United States.
Even though they also received little or no military training, the Confederate Army was somewhat better off as a fighting force. The majority of the Southerners were farmers and outdoor types and more adept in the use of their rifles and other commonly carried Civil War weapons such as pistols and fighting knives. Another decided advantage was that the Confederate soldiers were fighting in their own back yard and were more familiar with the terrain.
Once the armies engaged in earnest fighting the soldiers on both sides quickly learned that shooting at another man, and being shot at, was far from deer or rabbit hunting and the reality of war set in. The soldiers were literally baptized by fire and found battle more frightening than could be imagined. Those soldiers not killed or wounded in their first battle became seasoned fighters and were of great help in the training of replacements.
Participating in a Civil War reenactment, wearing authentic reproduction Confederate or Union Uniforms and other period correct clothing and gear, is to experience some of these feelings of being in a shooting war.
