Plug in Prestos PopLite and the party begins. In less than 2.5 minutes you will have up to 18 cups which is equal to two large bowlfuls of fluffy popcorn with virtually no unpopped kernels. And because the machine uses hot air instead of oil the resulting snack is healthier and lower in calories. Thats not to say you can nott add butter in fact the half cup measuring cup on top of the popper doubles as a butter melter. Simply put in the desired amount of margarine or butter and it melts from the heat produced during the popping process. The clear plastic cover and cup which must stay on during popping so the popped corn does not fly all over the room easily remove for hand cleaning with warm soapy water. No other clean-up is required. While a few unpopped kernels spring out the chute as the machine begins to heats up the chute does a good job of directing the popped corn into a bowl.
Plug in Presto's PopLite and the party begins. In less than 2-1/2 minutes you'll have up to 18 cups--two large bowlfuls--of fluffy popcorn with virtually no unpopped kernels. That's not to say you can't add butter; in fact, the 1/2-cup measuring cup on top of the popper doubles as a butter melter. Kid A

How is it that Kid A's opening track, laden with an electronic vocal stuttering "bleh, bluh-bleh bleh bluh" is the most fascinating statement made in rock & roll this year? Because somehow, even when Radiohead blathers and blips nonsense, it's profound. The band's future-perfect musical grammar may be hard to decipher, and the melody is even more subliminal, but the journey traveled with Radiohead reveals them to be not only rock music's greatest adventurers in 2000, but teachers as well. --Beth Massa
With every record, Radiohead jump off higher and higher cliffs, daring fans to take the plunge in their artistic feats of derring-do. The journey from that scratchy bit of raw guitar angst in "Creep" (from 1993's Pablo Honey) to any song on Kid A amounts to a high-wire act that few, if any, bands in popular music have ever attempted. It's hard to believe both records come from the same planet, much less the same band. Likewise, the grandiose, Pink Floyd-esque thematic scope of 1997's extraordinary OK Computer is nowhere to be found here. Quiet, contemplative, and less confrontational, it opens with a lack of bombast, as "Everything in Its Right Place" builds tension with ghostly voiceovers, a dry pulse, and a shadowy organ motif. That tension appears over and over on Kid A. On "How to Disappear Completely," the unsettled, atonal keyboard waxing in the background offsets the plaintive Thom Yorke vocal, and on "Idioteque," detached, inorganic rhythms make the melody's despondent aimlessness that much more nerve-racking. Throughout, Radiohead fearlessly explore dissonance and structure, melding twisted, Brian Eno-meets-Aphex Twin sonic landscapes with utter discontent in the world around them. They may sometimes overreach, letting artsy ambition prevent them from giving us the arena rock-god goodies. But their commitment to restless creativity also yields pleasures that don't fade but instead become more resonant upon repeated listenings. If OK Computer was rock's most relevant expression of millennial angst, Kid A is the opposite; it's the 21st century's first record that sounds like the future, barely caring what that Y2K fuss was all about and much more worried about what the hell we're all supposed to do now. --Matthew Cooke
Live tracks recorded at the Trocadero in Philadelphia, plus vinyl-only B-sides.

With a spectacular digital picture, spine-tingling high definition sound and immersive bonus features—you will feel the love for this critically acclaimed and universally beloved classic like never before.Embark on an extraordinary coming-of-age adventure as Simba, a lion cub who cannot wait to be king, searches for his destiny in the great “Circle of Life.” You will be thrilled by the breathtaking animation, unforgettable Academy Award®–winning music (1994: Best Original Score; Best Song, “Can You Feel The Love Tonight”) and timeless story. The king of all animated films reigns on Disney Blu-ray 3D—magic in a new dimension.Features include: •MPAA Rating: G•Format: Blu-Ray
Not an ideal choice for younger kids, this hip and violent animated feature from Disney was nevertheless a huge smash in theaters and on video, and it continues to enjoy life in an acclaimed Broadway production. The story finds a lion cub, son of a king, sent into exile after his father is sabotaged by a rivalrous uncle. The little hero finds his way into the "circle of life" with some new friends and eventually comes back to reclaim his proper place. Characters are very strong, vocal performances by the likes of Jeremy Irons, Nathan Lane, and Whoopi Goldberg are terrific, the jokes are aimed as much (if not more) at adults than kids, the animation is sometimes breathtaking, and the music is more palatable than in many Disney features. But be cautious: this is too intense for the Rugrat crowd. --Tom Keogh Related Products Amazon's Disney Store More Lion King Lion King Toys Versions of The Lion King on Blu-ray and DVD The Lion King (Two-Disc Diamond Edition Blu-ray / DVD Combo in Blu-ray Packaging) The Lion King (Two-Disc Diamond Edition Blu-ray / DVD Combo in DVD Packaging) The Lion King (Four-Disc Diamond Edition Blu-ray 3D / Blu-ray / DVD / Digital Copy) The Lion King Trilogy (Eight-Disc Combo: Blu-ray 3D / Blu-ray / DVD / Digital Copy) Release Date October 4, 2011 October 4, 2011 October 4, 2011 October 4, 2011 Format/Disc # Blu-ray, DVD DVD, Blu-ray Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Copy The Lion King includes: Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD, Digital Copy The Lion King 1 ½ includes: DVD, Blu-ray The Lion King 2 includes: DVD, Blu-ray Blu-ray 3D No No Yes Yes (The Lion King Only) Blu-ray Yes Yes Yes Yes DVD Yes Yes Yes Yes Digital Copy No No Yes Yes (The Lion King Only) Bonus Features 4 Never-Before-Seen Deleted Scenes;Deleted Song; The Morning Report: Extended scene;Never-Before-Seen Bloopers;Disney Second Screen*;Pride of The Lion King; The Lion King: A Memoir- Don Hahn; Disney Sing Along Mode; Interactive Gallery; Audio Commentary; Disney’s Virtual Vault: Classic DVD Features Powered by BD-Live* *Not Available in all territories. Dumbo (Two-Disc 70th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray / DVD Combo Pack in Blu-ray Packaging)
List Price: $39.99

A magical Walt Disney tale about the shy circus elephant whose big, floppy ears make him the target of ridicule among the other elephants. Dumbo gets lessons in self confidence from his rodent best friend, Timothy Q. Mouse, leading him to the revelation that his ears are actually a wonderful gift that will allow him to fly. Songs include "Pink Elephants on Parade" and "Baby Mine." 64 min. Standard; Soundtracks: English DTS HD 7.1 Master Audio, Dolby Digital stereo, Spanish Disney Enhanced Home Theater Mix 5.1, French Disney Enhanced Home Theater Mix 5.1; Subtitles: English (SDH), Spanish, French; audio commentary; "making of" documentary; featurettes; deleted scene; deleted song; art gallery; trivia; game; bonus shorts "The Flying Mouse" (1934), "Elmer Elephant" (1936). Also includes a DVD version of the film. Two-disc set.
A Disney "classic" that actually is a classic, Dumbo should be part of your video collection whether or not you have children. The storytelling was never as lean as in Dumbo, the songs rarely as haunting (or just plain weird), the characters rarely so well defined. The film pits the "cold, cruel, heartless" world that can't accept abnormality against a plucky, and mute, hero. Jumbo Jr. (Dumbo is a mean-spirited nickname) is ostracized from the circus pack shortly after his delivery by the stork because of his big ears. His mother sticks up for him and is shackled. He's jeered by children (an insightful scene has one boy poking fun at Dumbo's ears, even though the youngster's ears are also ungainly), used by the circus folk, and demoted to appearing with the clowns. Only the decent Timothy Q. Mouse looks out for the little guy. Concerns about the un-PC "Jim Crow" crows, who mock Dumbo with the wonderful "When I See an Elephant Fly," should be moderated by remembering that the crows are the only social group in the film who act kindly to the little outcast. If you don't mist up during the "Baby Mine" scene, you may be legally pronounced dead. --Keith Simanton

One of the brightest nuggets from Disney's golden age, this 1937 film is almost dizzying in its meticulous construction of an enchanted world, with scores of major and minor characters (including fauna and fowl), each with a distinct identity. When you watch Snow White's intricate, graceful movements of fingers, arms, and head all in one shot, it is not the technical brilliance of Disney's artists that leaps out at you, but the very spirit of her engaging, girl-woman character. When the wicked queen's poisoned apple turns from killer green to rose red, the effect of knowing something so beautiful can be so terrible is absolutely elemental, so pure it forces one to surrender to the horror of it. Based on the Grimm fairy tale, Snow White is probably the best family film ever to deal, in mythic terms, with the psychological foundation for growing up. It's a crowning achievement and should not be missed. --Tom Keogh Stills from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Click for larger image)

Supernatural: The Complete Third Season
List Price: $59.98
Sale Price: $18.00

|
As far as season cliffhangers go, it's hard to think of one as spectacular--or as insurmountable--as the fate that befalls Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) at the conclusion of Supernatural's third season, but that's only one of the many high points that await viewers in the course of these 16 episodes. Though the season is shorter (due to the 2007-2008 writers' strike), the overall quality of the episodes, both individually and as a whole, make the season one of the best to date in the show's history. The key to its success is the season's story arc, which has Dean and brother Sam (Jared Padalecki) struggling to continue their quest to fight evil while wrestling with the notion that Dean, who sold his soul to save his brother's life at the end of season 2, has only a year before the forces of darkness come to collect their due. What results is a strong mix of dramatic tension between Ackles and Padalecki (both actors come into their own with their characters in this season) and the more fright-driven fare by which the show has earned its reputation. Adding an intriguing wrinkle to the mix is the arrival of Ruby (Katie Cassidy), a demon who breaks tradition by helping the brothers in their adventures. Though not a fan favorite (and Cassidy herself would be gone by the end of this season, and replaced by Genevieve Cortese in season 4), her character underscored a recurring theme throughout the season--what is the true nature of evil?--which would be echoed in Dean's character development in the fourth and fifth seasons. It's an impressive direction for a series that might've continued down its Monster of the Week path, but instead took a bolder route, with considerable payoffs. The reduced number of episodes also means fewer extras on the five-disc set; instead of full-length commentaries, producer Eric Kripke and the production team contribute "Closer Looks," scene-specific commentaries on seven episodes. They're informative and amusing but lack the degree of information that die-hard Supernatural fans might be seeking. A 7-minute gag reel and a 5-minute tour of the brothers' beloved Impala are amusing but forgettable, as is the 15-minute pilot for Ghostfacers, the reality show hosted by hapless paranormal investigators Ed Zeddmore and Harry Spangler in the episode of the same name. More interesting and informative is From Legends to Reality, a 20-minute featurette on the show's special effects teams, whose work reaches a high-water mark in this season. --Paul Gaita
All 16 episodes from season three--including "The Magnificent Seven," "Sin City," "A Very Supernatural Christmas," "Dream a Little Dream of Me," and "No Rest for the Wicked"--are featured in a five-disc set. 10 3/4 hrs. total. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtracks: English Dolby Digital 5.1, Portuguese Dolby Digital Surround stereo; Subtitles: English (SDH), Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Thai, French; featurettes; photo gallery; gag reel. **16 episodes on 5 discs. 10 3/4 hrs.**

Here are some more information for From National:

UK National Lotto â an Overview
The UK National Lotto is the largest lottery game in the United Kingdom and is currently operated by the Camelot Group PLC. Camelot was granted the license to run the UK lotto when it was launched in 1994. The National Lotto is regulated by The National Lottery Commission and their role is to ensure that players are treated fairly; that the UK's interest in the Lotto is taken care of; and that the operator is motivated to maximize the enjoyment and benefits that the Lottery brings to the nation.
In 2002, to stem the tide of diminishing sales, the UK National Lottery had to make some changes. As a result, the main game was re-branded ‘Lotto’.
All the prize money paid out on all the games offered by the UK National Lottery is both lump sum and tax-free. The revenues generated by all of the National Lottery’s games are allocated in the following manner. For every pound (£) spent on the National Lottery games, 50 pence is allocated to the prize pot, 28 pence is given to good causes that the UK Government decides on, 12 pence goes to the British Government as tax and 5 pence is taken by the Lotto retailers as commission. The license holder receives 4.5 pence to cover their operating costs and a further 0.5 pence as profit.
Anyone interested in participating in the UK National Lottery games must be at least 16 years of age and be resident in either the United Kingdom or Isle of Man.
The National Lottery – The Different Game Choices
The UK National Lotto brand comprises numerous games to suit all tastes, each of which is listed here.
Lotto
To participate in the UK National Lotto, each player is required to choose six numbers from 1-49 and a further bonus number. The player can either select their own set of numbers simply by completing the form in the lottery outlet, or they can opt for the lottery retailers system to generate the numbers for them. This is known as the 'lucky dip' option.
Players are required to match at least 3 of their chosen 6 numbers to win a cash prize. A player’s winnings naturally increase as a result of matching more of their selected numbers. A further number is then drawn as the ‘bonus ball’ which is only relevant to players who match 5 of the 6 drawn numbers. Players who match the bonus ball number as well as 5 of the 6 main numbers win a much greater cash prize than those players who simply match 5 numbers without the bonus ball.
Any player lucky enough to match all their chosen numbers wins the jackpot. The chance of this happening is around 1 in 14 million. If no one wins the jackpot in a given week, the prize fund is ‘rolled over’ to the following week, making a much larger jackpot. These rollovers are a fairly common occurrence; with one taking place every few draws or so. The maximum number of rollovers permitted by the lottery operator is three but this has only happened on two occasions since this Lottery was launched in 1994.
The cost of purchasing a single lottery ticket is £1 and players can then watch each draw take place live on the BBC in the UK on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Lotto Extra
The Lotto Extra was launched on November 13th 2000 and offers players who are already participating in the main UK National Lotto draw the option to play Lotto Extra as well. The price for including Lotto Extra on a standard UK Lotto ticket was a further £1 — it was not possible to play Lotto Extra as a stand alone game. Again, six numbers were drawn from a range of 1–49. As with the main Lotto draw, if a player matched all six numbers they would win the jackpot. However, unlike the main draw, there were no further prizes offered for matching 3, 4, and 5 numbers. Instead, the jackpot would be rolled over week after week, until it was won. If the prize fund grew to £50 million and there were still no winners of the jackpot, it would then be issued to the player(s) matching just 5 numbers.
Due to poor sales Lotto Extra was cancelled in July 2006.
Dream Number
On July 15th 2006 Dream Number was launched to replace the cancelled Lotto Extra game. Dream Number offers prizes of up to £500,000 and can be played alongside the UK National Lotto or as a stand alone game. Participants have the option to play the 7-digit Dream Number shown on the Lotto play slip or pick Lucky Dip for a new random number to be generated. Tickets cost £1 each and to win, players must match the digits drawn in the same order as your Dream Number, reading from left to right and starting with the first digit.
All money raised for good causes from Dream Number will go towards the 2012 Summer Olympics and 2012 Summer Paralympics in London.
Thunderball
On June 7th June 1999 Thunderball was launched. With Thunderball, players choose five main numbers from 1 to 34 and one 'Thunderball' number from 1 to 14. As with all the other main UK National Lotto games, each Thunderball ticket costs £1 and the Draw takes place every Wednesday and Saturday.
Lotto Hot Picks
With Lotto Hot picks the same numbers that a player enters into the main Lotto draw are used. Again, all the numbers must be matched exactly to win the prize pot; in other words, so prizes are issued for partial matches.
Scratch Cards
In addition to providing a variety of lottery ticket options, the UK National Lottery also sells a huge array of scratch cards. These are small pieces of card where an area has been covered by a thin layer of opaque latex that needs to be scratched off. Hidden under this layer are symbols and pictures which the player needs to match in order to win the prize.
The regular scratch card requires the player to match three of these symbols/pictures and if this is achieved the player wins the amount printed on the scratch pad. The standard card costs £1 and offers a maximum prize of £100,000. However, there are also some cards that offer numerous chances of winning and these sell for £2 and in some cases £5, for the higher prize cards.
Daily Play
The Daily Play, as the name suggests can be played everyday, except for Sundays and Christmas Day. Players must choose 7 numbers from 1 to 27 and prizes can be anything from winning a free lucky dip up to £30,000 cash.
The Daily Play draw is not televised but players can keep up to date with the results via the BBC website. The results on Saturdays are recorded and are broadcast during the live draws of the UK National Lotto, Dream Number and Thunderball on the BBC in the UK.
