The joke of Licensed to Ill's cover--that the Beasties could crash their jet into the side of a mountain and keep on tickin'--serves as a good metaphor for a career that even some of their 1986 admirers thought might be over after the one-time-only shock of this full-length debut. That thousands of funk-junkie wannabes have since failed at re-creating its groove, breaking-the-law vibe, and ear-splitting mix of rock and rap is an even better joke. And funniest of all is the record itself, which packs dexterous boasts, aural puns, and lots and lots of yelling into a disc that can still be listened to with as much pleasure as it gave in '86. --Rickey Wright

The James Bond Collection
List Price: $42.98
Sale Price: $39.95

The exploits of Ian Fleming's British super-agent James Bond have long since become the longest running film series in history, spanning 40 years and counting. Not the least of the cycle's charm has been its music, a body of work that encompasses pop clichés (the twangy guitar of Monty Norman's original "James Bond Theme") and elegant underscores alike. While this collection spans music from Dr. No to The World Is Not Enough, decades of various legal entanglements prevented it from becoming the ultimate Bond music anthology. This is more a credible simulation, a newly recorded collection of cues and suites (including music previously unreleased on the original soundtracks) performed by Nic Raine and the City of Prague Symphony Orchestra. With John Barry's lush, ever-evocative scores both forming the core and setting the tone (but also featuring the work of George Martin, David Arnold, Michael Kamen, Bill Conti, and Eric Serra), it's the most comprehensive--if not exactly authentic--collection of Bond music yet attempted. --Jerry McCulley

View larger. Story In a land torn asunder by incessant warfare, it is time to assemble your own band of hardened warriors and enter the fray. In Mount & Blade: Warband, you lead your men into battle, expand your realm within the land of Calradia. Calradia is a land at war, a land offering great riches and even greater dangers to the adventurers and mercenaries that flock to shed their blood on its soil. With unerring courage and a strong sword, a warrior can make a name as for himself here and more. Raise a band of hardened soldiers, become the lord of several towns and castles, and perhaps one day you may wield the power to depose kings and perhaps take their thrones for yourself. Gameplay Mount & Blade: Warband is an action RPG that utilizes medieval weapons, units, combat techniquesespecially cavalryand strategy exclusively. It does not feature magic. It is a standalone expansion of the original game's universe and play mechanics, meaning that the original Mount & Blade game is not necessary for play. In single player mode players create a character, align themselves with one of the five fictional, yet historically realistic, factions existing in the gameworld and set off to carve out a realm for themselves is the kingdom of Calradia. Along the way they will meet units of other factions on the field of battle and with continued success against them gain experience and level up their character, and units. Along with being able to control their character, players are able to command and control their units in a real-time strategy (RTS) like capacity. Unlike the original game, in Warband players are afforded more diplomatic tools and strategiessuch as political marriageswhich can ultimately allow them to move beyond simply overthrowing a monarch, instead allowing them to take the throne themselves and even install vassals. Multiplayer Options Again, setting itself apart from the original single player game, Mount & Blade: Warband allows for a wide variety of online multiplayer scenarios. These range from near massive multiplayer online conflicts that support up to 64 players, to more organized smaller skirmishes. Modes available online include: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Conquest, Battle, and Siege. Within select online multiplayer modes units can be commanded in the RTS fashion available in single player. In this players take control of a set number of bot units in all out competition against all other players, or gather their controlled units together within a single faction splitting battlefield responsibilities in their fight against others. In this, Mount & Blade: Warband allows players to unleash both their individual character's skill at arms, as well as their overall ability to strategize on the battlefield in live play. Key Game Features A standalone expansion game set in the Mount & Blade universe that does not require the original game in the series. Washington State Department Of Licensing Hearings Are No Time To Go It Alone!
If you have been arrested for DUI in Washington State, chances are you are fearful of losing your license. Quite frankly, this is a very real possibility.
DUI penalties in Washington State can be very severe. And the thought of losing your driving freedom for any length of time is likely not something you really want to have to deal with. It can impact your job or schooling - and it can dramatically impact your social life.
But if you do get notified that your driving privileges will be suspended, revoked or restricted as a result of a DUI charge, you do have a right to continue to fight. And fight you should!
Having a license that is suspended, revoked or restricted is not only bad for the near term, but it can have longer term impacts and remain on your driving record for years - and this affects insurance premiums!

Department Of Licensing hearings are typically recorded on tape or digital media, and may be conducted in-person or over the telephone. The results of your licensing hearing may be appealed to superior court, allowing you a further chance of overturning the penalties.
According to Washington State law, if your license was suspended or revoked due to an arrest for driving under the influence, a formal hearing will be offered to you. A date for the hearing will be set, and you will be expected to appear telephonically.

Should You Fight The Speeding Ticket That You Just Got?
You were polite and submissive, yet the police officer handed you a speeding ticket.
Now there are two things that you can do. You can pay the fine or fight the speeding ticket. How do you choose?
It all boils down to the money. If you choose to accept the ticket, you will pay the fine. You will also likely pay an insurance surcharge for several. You'll need to do the math here by, adding up the fine and the accrued surcharges.
You must also think about the points. Are these the first points you will have on your license or are you in danger of losing your license, due to too many points? What will not being able to drive cost you? That is a scary thought.
What will it cost you if you fight the ticket? Lost wages from work, fees for a speeding ticket strategy tool, and your time to prepare. It will cost you a lot more to pay the ticket.
Even it money isn't an issue for you; you'll still have to consider the points on your license, because too many could cost you your license.
Can you win?
The National Motorist Association states that over 50% of the drivers who fight their speeding ticket, do win. And of those who lose their case, a large number of them have their charge reduced. Those are pretty good odds. There is at least a 50% chance that you will walk away without your speeding ticket, no fines and no points. All you have to do is show up in court (some places you can even contest a speeding ticket through the mail).
How should you plead?
With a speeding ticket, you can plead guilty, Nolo Contendre, or not guilty. Both a guilty plea and the nolo plea have pretty much the same results, which is you paying the fine and getting higher insurance rates. If you plead not guilty, you will be given a court date. If you want to beat your speeding ticket, you must go to court. Carefully review your ticket if you are going to fight it. There will be very specific instructions that you must follow, these vary greatly by state and even by county.
The cost of a speeding ticket is much more than the fine, you can be paying for one ticket for several years. Taking the time to prepare for court and fight your speeding ticket will save you both money and aggravation in the future.
