Building a swimming pool in your back yard can be one of the biggest investments you can make in your San Diego home. It is a good investment, but nonetheless a big decision. Since this is such a big decision, you will want to do your homework since there can also be a lot at risk. You will want to work with a San Diego pool contractor whom you trust and can get the job done right the first time. Since there are so many companies to choose from in the County, and you don't want to just close your eyes and pick out of the phone book, there are a few questions to ask and elements to consider to ensure a successful project.
1.) Check if the Contractor is Properly Licensed, Bonded, and Insured. There are specific and licensing requirements on a statewide level as well as a Countywide level for any San Diego pool contractor to complete work on your home. Make sure the contractor you are considering holds a license specifically in constructing pools and not for another license type such as masonry or electrical work. If something were to go wrong at your home, it is important that this license has proper classification to protect you. The same goes for General Contractors, as you'll want to make sure they have a specific pool construction license.
When working with a company, aside from being properly licensed, make sure they hold adequate insurance and are bonded in case an issue or accident happens in the middle of your project. You'll want to double check that the insurance is not a separate line item which is out of pocket, but rather included with the contractor.
2.) References Are Important. Whether you are considering a fiberglass pool, ground pool, or concrete pool, it is recommended to get as many past and current references as possible so you can speak firsthand with the customers to feel out their experience of the process as well as the final result. Don't be afraid to ask challenging questions so you have all the information possible to make the best decision on your end. You can ask about attentiveness, communication, budget, schedule, and quality of materials and workers.
3.) Research Local Trade Associations. Outside of speaking with hopefully satisfied customers, it is also recommended to meet with local trade associations including the San Diego Chamber of Commerce, or the local Chamber of Commerce in your city. It's also a good idea to check out the San Diego Better Business Bureau to see if there are any unresolved complaints with the contractor or San Diego pool company.
4.) Negotiate Price. Particularly in this economy, price is always negotiable. You don't want to settle for the first contractor you interview or the first price you are given. General rule of thumb is to get at least three bids before making a decision so you can compare actual cost with the materials proposed and total scope of work.
5.) Careful of the Contract. Because this is such a large investment, you will want to get very familiar with the contract for construction and gain as much detail as possible for both parties. You want to be protected. If you don't understand certain parts of the contract, be sure to bring it to your legal council. The contract should spell out cost, progressive payments, late penalties, and schedule.
Doing your homework and taking the initiative in asking the right questions and doing your homework will help you ensure a successful San Diego pool project that will provide years of enjoyment with your family for years to come.

Nicole Scherzinger- a Brief History and Her Career
It is difficult to decide that weather a celebrity is singer, actor, or a model but at the end we know they are popular among the entire world. Shockingly most hot celebrities have very poor background and childhood. Almost all of them have worst relations between their parents so they started showbiz at very early age.
Her Early Life.
Nicole Scherzinger was born in Honolulu. Her mother was Hawaiian/Russian and her father was Filipino/Hawaiian so she is a combination of different cultures and countries. Her mother Rosemary was just 18 at the time of Nicole's birth and separated from her father when Nicole was a baby. Louisville, Kentucky was their next destiny and they moved there with her half sister Ke'ala and German-American stepfather Gary Scherzinger, who adopted Nicole. While attending Youth Performing Arts School she began her life as performer in Louisville. She put her studies on hold in 1999 to sing backing vocals for the rock band Days of the New.
Her Recording career
Scherzinger appeared on the second album by Days of the New, released in 1999. She also recorded two songs with Barry Drake's F.O.B, which were released in 2001.
In 2001, Scherzinger competed in the premiere season of The WB's television show Popstars, on which she earned a spot in the all-girl pop group Eden's Crush. She became one of the main vocalists for the group. The group's 2001 single "Get Over Yourself" peaked at number one in sales and hit the top ten on Billboard Hot 100. "Love This Way" was the second single chosen from the Pop stars album; however, their record company, London-Sire Records, folded and the group eventually disbanded. Songwriter Kara DioGuardi contributed one track to the album, and later went on to co-write with Scherzinger for PCD and Her Name is Nicole.
Scherzinger worked with Yoshiki of Japanese rock band X Japan on in his Violet UK project. She sang the English version of "I'll Be Your Love" live with the Tokyo Symphonic Orchestra. The track also appeared on the 2003 Various Artists album Exposition of Global Harmony.
Her Career Pussycat Dolls
Pussycat Dolls was her next destination and she joined Pussycats in May 2003. Pussycat was her dream since November 2002 when she saw them performing The Late Show with David Letterman. Carmen Electra sang "Big Spender" from the Bob Fosse musical Sweet Charity. In 2006, Scherzinger said "It caught my eye because I’d played Velma Kelly in [Fosse's] Chicago in college." With "Don't Cha", "Buttons" and "Stickwitu" Pussycat Dolls were on top 5 of US charts and these songs acquired world level popularity. She co-wrote "I Don't Need a Man" with Kara DioGuardi and producer Rich Harrison, and co-wrote "Buttons" with producer Sean Garrett. Another collaboration with DioGuardi, "Flirt", became a B-side to "Stickwitu" and a bonus track on PCD.
In 2006, Scherzinger toured with the Pussycat Dolls for their album promotion. It was revealed in 2006 that the Dolls are salaried employees of Interscope Records, giving the label a high level of control over the group's finances and business decisions.
