Every night at the V-Theatre inside the Planet Hollywood. Great show full of magic, balance acts, juggling, acrobatics and very funny and charming host Wally Eastwood. In my opinion this is absolutely the best family show on the Strip. You will be laughing most of the show.

#2. THE TOURNAMENT OF KINGS at the Excalibur

Great family dinner and show for one price. Audience becomes part of the show as they are divided into different countries while cheering for their knight. Kids love the fact that they must eat their entire dinner with their hands.

#3. GREGORY POPOVICH'S COMEDY PET THEATER at the Planet Hollywood

Before dinner head down to the V-theatre for one of the furriest shows. Circus performer Gregory Popovich and his family put on a sweet and funny afternoon show featuring their furry four legged friends. The dogs and cats in the show do amazing tricks and will make you laugh aloud.

#4. NATHAN BURTON COMEDY MAGIC at the Flamingo

Another great afternoon show for the whole family. What better way to spend afternoon then with magic and music at the same time. Nathan Burton knows how to give his audience 110%. You will be impressed with his magic tricks and delighted by the rhythm of his beautiful showgirls. Amongst his cool props you'll find the biggest hair dryer you ever saw.

#5. FAB FOUR LIVE at the Planet Hollywood

Introduce your children to the wonderful songs of the Beatles. The Fab Four Live is pretty close to the real thing. At times you can close you eyes and imagine yourself being in mid Sixties. The very touching tribute to John Lennon will make you cry.

#6. ICE: DIRECT FROM RUSSIA at the Riviera

Outstanding ice skating show. The breathtaking gymnastics combined with music and beautiful costumes. Colors, movements, music. Everything and more you want in an ice skating show.

#7. LANCE BURTON at the Monte Carlo

If you like a classic magic show then this one is for you. Lance Burton is an honorary member of The Royal Dynasty of Magic and he's been sharing his gift with audience in Las Vegas since 1981. During the show several children are given the opportunity to come up on the stage and be a part of the magic. Very family friendly and classy show.

#8. MYSTERE CIRQUE DU SOLEIL at the Treasure Island

If you never took your family to see the Cirque Du Soleil this is a good place to start. Mystere is the most affordable Cirque Du Soleil performance in Las Vegas and absolutely perfect for any age. Acrobats, clown, high energy, beautiful costumes, music. It all comes together as one unforgettable show.

#9. SHOW BUS OF THE STARS at the Planet Hollywood

Get on the double-decker bus and let celebrity impersonators to be your guide while you explore Las Vegas Strip. The impersonators change so you won't know who will be your guide. It could be Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe or perhaps Madonna? You have to go to find out.

#10. XTREME MAGIC STARRING DIRK ARTHUR at the Tropicana

Another great family afternoon show. This magic show is full of large scale illusions that will amaze and entertain you. The part of the show are also 3 animals TJ the white tiger, Oscar the spotted leopard and Diamond the black leopard.

Dollywood Parade to Kickoff Opening of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Dolly Parton is Sevier County’s favorite daughter. Her life began deep in the Smoky Mountains and her humble beginnings didn’t stop her from the climb to stardom that she has today. Many of her best songs echo the hardships and love she has for this area.

Dolly Parton has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Nashville Star Walk. She has 25 songs that reached number one on the Billboard country charts, with 110 charted singles and 41 Top 10 albums, which is an achievement to be very proud of. This talented entertainer has also gone on to star on the silver screen in movies such as; The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Straight Talk, Steel Magnolias, Nine to Five and Rhinestone. In 1999, Dolly Parton was given the highest of honors and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Yet all this success hasn’t taken the small-town girl out of the talented singer. Every year, Dolly Parton returns to the city of her birth to grand marshal the DollyWood Parade that celebrates the season opening of her theme parks; DollyWood and DollyWood Splash Country.

Every year locals and visitors alike line the main parkway of Pigeon Forge to watch the festive procession, wanting to get a glimpse of the country singer that has retained a heart of gold. To some she is a world-renowned star, and to some she is a girl they went to high school with. Adults and children both will be bedazzled by the festive floats done by local businesses and civic groups and talented local entertainers, as well as skilled marching bands from area high schools. The marching bands are the best of the best, as they are judged for their performance in the parade for the Pigeon Forge Music Festival.

Annually, an estimated 60,000 people gather to watch the DollyWood parade. For some it is a rite of spring, traveling from across the nation with their families to visit all this area has to offer. For some the parade comes as a pleasant surprise, having no idea that they had chosen to visit during such a time. There are numerous shops and amusements to duck into before and after the parade and Pigeon Forge boasts a vast array of restaurants to cool your heels at with your family.
