The sides of this 10-inch nonstick griddle are low and slope gently, so your crêpes slide out without falling apart and your pancakes flip easily. No matter what you're cooking, you're guaranteed quick and even heat distribution, easy food release, and simple cleaning, thanks to the pan's three layers: an aluminum core, a hard-anodized exterior, and a reinforced nonstick surface. The aluminum core provides rapid heat conduction, while the hard-anodized exterior increases the griddle's durability. The nonstick surface allows you to cook low-fat meals without using any oil or butter. The griddle includes a collector's edition recipe card. As with all nonstick surfaces, you should not use metal utensils or abrasive cleaners with the griddle; doing so could void the lifetime warranty. --Laura Cuthbert

The Dark Side Of The Moon - Immersion Box Set
List Price: $149.99
Sale Price: $79.24

Australia released, PAL/NTSC/Region 0 DVD: LANGUAGES: English ( Dolby Digital 5.1 ), English ( Dolby Digital Stereo ), English ( Dolby Linear PCM ), SPECIAL FEATURES: Booklet, Box Set, Collectors Edition, Interactive Menu, Multi-DVD Set, Photo Gallery, Remastered, Scene Access, SYNOPSIS: 6 Disc Box Set - 3 CDs; 2 DVDs & Blu-Ray Disc: The Immersion Edition inaugurating the series with a six-disc box set of Dark Side of the Moon. A ludicrously lavish box that truly does immerse a listener within the album's world. The original album, remastered again in 2011 by James Guthrie, accounts for the first disc, along with the first DVD-Audio that contains Guthries 5.1 mix from 2003, and Alan Parsons' quadraphonic mix from 1973, never before reissued. Also never issued officially is the Floyd's live set from Wembley in 1974, here as a second CD, nor has Parsons' original 1972 mix, issued here on an exclusive CD that also contains The Hard Way, from the abandoned Household Objects album, live versions of blueprints for Dark Side in Any Colour You Like, The Mortality Sequence, and The Travel Sequence, the latter also present in a studio version, and demos of Us and Them and Money. All this doesn't account for the books, the collector cards and prints, the backstage and ticket replicas, the coasters and scarf. As nice as the packaging is, the real news of the set is the bonus audio: the live concert is excellent, the Parsons mix is notably different in parts - particularly during extended instrumental sections on The Great Gig in the Sky, Us and Them, Any Colour You Like, and Brain Damage - and the skeletal demos, along with the live run-throughs, contain the thrill of hearing an overly familiar piece at its tentative origin. ...Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon - Immersion - Collectors Box - 6 Disc Set ( Pink Floyd - The Dark Side Of The Moon - Immersion Box Set )

Les Miserables: The 10th Anniversary Dream Cast in Concert at London's Royal Albert Hall
List Price: $34.98
Sale Price: $23.99

|
Studio: Warner Home Video Release Date: 02/19/2008 Run time: 147 minutes Rating: Nr
The 10th anniversary concert video of the international musical sensation Les Misérables might be the best thing to appease fans until a full-fledged movie comes along. Or it might be even better, as feature films are often subject to extramusical casting considerations and this 1995 dream cast is superb. Reprising their roles from the original London company are Colm Wilkinson (Valjean), Michael Ball (Marius), and Alun Armstrong (Thenardier). From Broadway come Judy Kuhn (Cosette), Lea Salonga (Eponine), and Michael Maguire (Enjolras); from a later London production comes Ruthie Henshall (Fantine); and from Australia comes Philip Quast (Javert). Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg's score vividly captures the passion of Victor Hugo's epic tale of post-Revolutionary France, combining tear-jerking ballads ("I Dreamed a Dream," "Bring Him Home") and rousing anthems ("Do You Hear the People Sing"). The format of this concert is closer to that of a dramatic cantata rather than a fully staged production; the singers stand at their microphone stands with an orchestra and chorus behind them, but they do wear costumes and participate in some movement. At certain points such as the climax of the barricade scene, the video switches to action from a stage production. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra sounds great, and it can be thrilling when 200 choristers (dressed in logo T-shirts) rise to their feet for a full-company number such as "One Day More." Also, subtitles provide date and scene information and help move the story along. The 147-minute video contains footage not seen when Les Mis was a PBS pledge-drive staple, most notably the encore in which a progression of 17 actors who have played Valjean around the world share "Do You Hear the People Sing?" Each sings a line in his native language, a testament to the enduring power of this show to audiences everywhere. --David Horiuchi DVD features The 2008 two-disc edition presents the concert on a single-sided disc (the original DVD split the concert over two sides) with optional English subtitles. It's also in anamorphic widescreen (1.78:1 aspect ratio) comparied to the original's 1.33 full-screen. The second disc has Stage by Stage: Les Miserables, the hourlong documentary from 1988. Unfortunately the sound is only Dolby Digital 2.0. Early editions of the DVD had an odd omission (compared to the earlier Sony DVD)--the first 10 seconds of Gavroche's "Little People" were missing ("Good evening, dear inspector, lovely evening, my dear...")--that has now been corrected. --David Horiuchi

Saturday Night Fever (30th Anniversary Special Collector's Edition)
List Price: $14.99
Sale Price: $5.07

Saturday Night Fever is one of those movies that comes along and seems to change the cultural temperature in a flash. After the movie's release in 1977, disco ruled the dance floors, and a blow-dried member of a TV-sitcom ensemble became the hottest star in the country. For all that, the story is conventional: a 19-year-old Italian-American from Brooklyn, Tony Manero (John Travolta), works in a humble paint store and lives with his family. After dark, he becomes the polyester-clad stallion of the local nightclub; Tony's brother, a priest, observes that when Tony hits the dance floor, the crowd parts like the Red Sea before Moses. Director John Badham captures the electric connection between music and dance, and also the desperation that lies beneath Tony's ambitions to break out of his limited world. The soundtrack, which spawned a massively successful album, is dominated by the disco classics of the Bee Gees, including "Staying Alive" (Travolta's theme during the strutting opening) and "Night Fever." The Oscar-nominated Travolta, plucked from the cast of Welcome Back, Kotter, for his first starring role, is incandescent and unbelievably confident, and his dancing is terrific. Oh, and the white suit rules. (Note: Saturday Night Fever was cut from its original R-rated version after its initial release in order to obtain a PG rating. The PG version is 11 minutes shorter and is missing parts of scenes and some street talk. Both versions are available on video.) --Robert Horton

Here are some more information for Collectors Edition:

Sally has a secret way of getting energized even though she is always busy at work. And guess what? She always works out at her favorite health and fitness studio! This is how she gets relaxed and refreshed. However when she arrived at the fitness studio, the shop is already closed and up for sale. Without hesitation, Sally made decision to buy the shop to continue making people feel their best. So here comes Sally's Studio to the action!
In Sally's Studio Collector's Edition, you will go through 60 stages in total to complete the game. Travel across different locations in the map to go through from beginners to expert ranking. Collect location trophies and world trophies along the way.
When you complete each stage, it is shopping time!! Shop for your studio for new items with your earned money and upgrade them to make your customers more satisfied when they visit your fitness studio. Items range from decorative items to different types of clocks to different types of magazines. You can also select the different types of juice mixers, yoga mats and waiting chairs.
Take the customers to the exercise routines based on what their bubbles shows, be it the initial warm up, or different types of yoga mat. While waiting, play the music, let them have their drinks or give them magazines to read. As with all other time management games, you will get more customers as you progresses through the stages, but in time, you will get used to the speed and coordination.
Earn as many hearts as you can from the customers, the more the better. Again, this is a feature most gamers already familiarize with other games before, the game can introduce us other unique features. Anyway, graphics wise, it is cute and attractive. Still heartwarming to see we have collected so many hearts from the satisfied customers.
Once in a while, there will be difficult customers and the game will provide a sneak preview to the types of customers that will come in to the studio at a certain stage. Impatient Policemen, Nurses, Tourist, you name it you have it. So you need to make full use of the equipments and tools you have in your studio to make them occupied. Play the music and let them read the magazines whenever you see they are waiting in line! Make the drinks or grab whatever within your reach and pass to them to see them happy.
You will also help Sally to open new branches and have new themes for the fitness studio. As Sally, you will be exposed to new ideas to the places, and even beaches will be turned to a workout place.
Overall, I feel that there is lacking of originality in the games features as they are not new in time management games. However, when I proceeded through the stages of Sally's Studio Collector's Edition, oh boy...this game can be very addictive! One thing that is slightly different from the rest is that the story mode and the location settings for the fitness studio. Instead of all indoor gym, there are even outdoor settings.
All in all, personally, I would rate this game 3 out of 5 ratings.

Commemorative Coins - What Every Collector Longs For
Commemorative Coins As Souvenirs
The popularity of commemorative coins has risen. Often they are given as gifts for special occasions and are kept for many years as souvenirs from a dear friend or loved one.
There is a great demand for commemorative coins among collectors as it signifies a mint date or an important event.
From the 1970’s there were individual commemorative coins in the market each year, but now they come in packages as sets. This type of marketing is largely because of the introduction of the euro and the depreciation of the coins which started in 1971.
Some countries have used commemorative coins for propaganda and Royalty has issued coins to mark special events or occasions.
The Different Commemorative Coins Produced
In 1892 the Columbian Exposition was remembered by the production of the half dollar. This was to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Christopher Columbus’ discovery of the New World.
The next year the quarter dollar came into existence – this honored the Spanish Queen Isabella who championed Women’s Rights.
In the 1900’s the early coins in silver were introduced – these coins were in honor of George Washington and Lafayette – the next year the half dollar came out and there were legal tender coins to celebrate historical events from 1892-1954.
The Washington Quarter dollar came out in 1932 – this was in honor of George Washington’s 200th birth anniversary and is an extremely well known commemorative coin and enjoys a wide circulation.
Commemorative coins from 1892-1954 were not circulated as the United States had not legalized it for the public so collectors do not pay high costs for these coins.
The Bicentennial quarter came into existence in 1975. This commemorative coin was the second one to be circulated and the half and silver dollars (1776-1976) were issued again and these were considered a special edition for collectors.
Each collector has his own individual taste in coins. Most of the collectors prefer the modern coins, but there are those who like the coins from 1892-1954. The modern coins have different monetary values according to the series.
There have been many series that have come out and there was a suggestion to Congress to release the Lincoln cent to commemorate his birth anniversary. But it is not known whether a commemorative coin of 1 cent will ever be released.
There seems to be a strange pattern in the circulation of commemorative coins. The silver and half dollar coins from 1776-1976 are not really popular with collectors because they are scarce. The coins that are most in circulation are the quarter dollars. It would be indeed something of a speculation if the proposal to circulate the commemorative coin of one cent denomination will eventually come into being.
