Can the mini-pill affect infant exzema? Are there any foods that would affect exzema more?

I've tried a hydrocortizone and it dries out her skin, tried using a natural cloth, tried switching soaps... any other ideas?

My poor daughter has had eczema since she was a newborn. We only use Cetaphil soap and lotion on her skin, that really helps, and we use Free & Clear laundry detergent and Fragrance Free Dryer sheets for the whole family's laundry. Also, fragrance free diaper wipes and diapers (some are perfumed), we used Huggies. When it gets really bad we have a prescription 2% cortizone cream the Doctor prescribed for her, I just don't like to use it too much. I hope you can find something that helps, if it doesn't clear up don't be afraid to ask her doctor for recommendations or a referral to a dermatologist.

Additional comment: Lol, I answered your question without actually answering what you were asking. Sorry. I used the mini pill and it did not affect my skin (I am VERY sensitive) or my son while I breastfed him. I was not on the pill when breastfeeding my daughter, and I was careful to not eat highly allergic foods either and she still had eczema.
