Ok,the problem is the Hard Disk on the iPod.If it freezes and after U switch it on,if it shows a red cross 'X' ,then it is a Hard Disk problem.They recommend you to reset the iPod,believe me it won't work.The only solution is to replace the iPod.You can do that at the Apple Store,they will definitely solve the problem if not then replace the iPod.
