The sixth season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer followed the logic of plot and character development into some gloomy places. The year begins with Buffy being raised from the dead by the friends who miss her, but who fail to understand that a sacrifice taken back is a sacrifice negated. Dragged out of what she believes to have been heavenly bliss, she finds herself "going through the motions" and entering into a relationship with the evil, besotted vampire Spike just to force her emotions. Willow becomes ever more caught up in the temptations of magic; Xander and Anya move towards marriage without ever discussing their reservations; Giles feels he is standing in the way of Buffy's adult independence; Dawn feels neglected. What none of them need is a menace that is, at this point, simply annoying--three high school contemporaries who have turned their hand to magical and high-tech villainy. Added to this is a hungry ghost, an invisibility ray, an amnesia spell and a song-and-dance demon (who acts as rationale for the incomparable musical episode "Once More, with Feeling"). This is a year in which chickens come home to roost: everything from the villainy of the three geeks to Xander's doubts about marriage come to a head, often--as in the case of the impressive wedding episode--through wildly dark humor. The estrangement of the characters from each other--a well-observed portrait of what happens to college pals in their early 20s--comes to a shocking head with the death of a major character and that death's apocalyptic consequences. The series ends on a consoling note which it has, by that point and in spite of imperfections, entirely earned. --Roz Kaveney

One Tree Hill - The Complete Fourth Season

One Tree Hill: The Complete Fourth Season finds the dramatic final year of high school for the series' major characters full of grudges, pregnancies, partner-switching, big mistakes, and dashed hopes. But there are also renewals of friendship and new possibilities in love and independence. The season is overshadowed by the murder of Keith Scott (Craig Sheffer), uncle to brothers Lucas and Nathan Scott, neither of whom realizes that the killer was their own father, Dan (Paul Johansson), Keith's brother. While Dan is haunted by his conscience over his misdeed, Nathan himself feels Keith's ghostly presence during a season-opening crisis in which he dives into a lake to rescue Rachel (Danneel Harris) and Cooper (Michael Trucco). Nathan, struggling to understand the meaning of his experience, puts a strain on his new marriage to Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) and becomes the target of Rachel's predatory sexual advances. Rachel's friend Brooke (Sophia Bush) breaks up with Lucas after the latter's close friend Peyton (Hilarie Burton) confesses she has feelings for him. (Brooke also turns her back on her old friendship with Peyton, making for several episodes of nasty, verbal volleys between the girls.) Lucas' sudden availability puts the possibility of romance with Peyton in play, but she's also busy dealing with the discovery of a brother she didn't know she had--a guy who isn't quite what he appears to be. As if that's not enough, there are pregnancies and presumed pregnancies galore in season four: Haley and Nathan, for sure, plus Lucas' mom Karen (Moira Kelly), who is carrying Keith's child. Two other characters either believe or maintain they are pregnant. Meanwhile, Nathan's mom, Deb (Barbara Alyn Woods), develops a personality-altering drug addiction and carries around a loaded pistol; Lucas' pal Skills (Antwon Tanner) gets a shot at playing basketball for the Ravens; and Mouth (Lee Norris) gets drunk and complains that girls only want to be his friend. Everything heads, inexorably, toward graduation day, which finds several crises simultaneously overlapping with the joy of moving on. As with every One Tree Hill season, The Complete Season Four is easy to get hooked on, with a very good cast and audacious storylines.--Tom Keogh

Here are some more information for Chosen One:

Chosen for Such a Time as This
You are totally exclusive, privileged, and most excellent. Yes, I can call you that, even though I do not know you personally and despite the fact that you may not see yourself that way.
How you feel at any given time has nothing to do with how God sees you, and what He has to say about you. He said that you are peculiar; set apart from all the rest.
Are you saved? Then you've been called out of this world by Jesus Christ and set apart by Him and for Him. Together we are precious, living stones built up into a spiritual house; a royal priesthood chosen to offer up spiritual sacrifices unto God. (1 Pet. 2: 4-6)
That means that you no longer are to be influenced by all the 'secrets' of this world. Do not be conformed to this world, but instead realize that you're being transformed. Your spirit has been ignited by the Spirit of God. Now you need to tell your soul, which includes your mind, your feelings and worldly desires, to be renewed as well. (Rom. 12: 2)
Esther was the king's choice to be his queen. Yet, even king's wife was not allowed to come into his presence without being summoned at the punishment of death. When a decree went out that all the Jewish people, including herself, would be killed, it became evident to Esther that God had chosen her to be queen at this appointed time. If she had not been queen, she would not have heard the news firsthand and been in a position to do something about the problem.
She and all the Jewish people in the city prayed and fasted for three days. Then she went against all protocol to ask the most powerful king in all the earth a favor. Esther was willing to put her own life on the line in order to save her people from total annihilation off the face of the whole earth.
Now consider this: Esther had been chosen to sit at the king's right hand as queen. Under threat of death, she went boldly into his throne room. The king, happy to see her, extended his scepter, the symbol of all his power, and she touched it. She then was able to ask her petition, which was granted to her.
And this: You were chosen to sit at the King's right hand. You have favor with the King and, because of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross you do not have to fear instant death in His presence. NO! You can come boldly unto the throne of grace to obtain mercy and grace in time of need. (Heb. 4: 14 - 16).
On top of that, you have also been proffered the scepter of all of God's Power! Did you touch it? Did you accept it? Do not take lightly the awesome power in the Name of Jesus! It's yours to use! It is the Power of His resurrection (Phil. 3: 10). It is the Name that is above all names, to which every knee must bow, whether in heaven, on earth and under the earth! (Phil. 2: 9 - 10) It's not enough that He freely gave you His power. You must realize that it is yours, accept it, and use it for His glory!
You have been chosen at this time in history in this precise place to do His work. Do not look to the right or to the left, trying to find answers in world philosophies or religions. Neither allow yourself to be deceived by those who say that you can meditate a certain way and be guaranteed to receive riches, even by substituting your 'god.' Satan is out to deceive, especially those who are saved. (Phil. 2:
Jesus contains the fullness of the triune God. And you are complete in Him, who is above all principality and power. (Phil. 2: 9 - 10) He is your Wisdom and your Power to overcome all things, and it is His good pleasure to show you the mystery of His will. (Eph. 1: 8 - 9)

Is there a site that will let me print out large letters (just one at a time per page)in chosen font for art?
I'm just trying to do an art project and I know this is so simple I feel like an idiot but I'm sure someone can help me out. I want to print out fairly large letters one at a time per letter size page in a chosen bold font. I am wanting to glue initials onto glass plates for display but can't find a site (or even program) that will let me enlarge the letters enough. Anyone?
First, you don't need any particular site to do this when you have a perfectly good word processor application right in front of you, on your computer.
Whether you use Microsoft Word, works, or ANY word processor, you can make the font size as large as you want. Most of the more popular ones will drop down a list of suggested font sizes when you click the field to change the font size, but you are not limited to the ones that pop up.
Instead, in the field that shows you the current font size, you can type in whatever point size you want. Just keep one thing in mind, and you can make the letters as large as you can fit on the page: 72 points, in any font equals about one inch. To make the math easy, you can round this off to 75 points per inch. So, if you want a letter ten inches tall, that works out to 750 points.
Just type in 750 in the font size field and then type the letter. Print it out and, "voila!"
