Two magnificent movies on one VHS tape!
The Raven: A wealthy judge coaxes the brilliant but eccentric neurological surgeon Dr. Vollin (Lugosi), who also has an obsessive penchant for Edgar Allen Poe, out of retirement to save the life of his daughter, a dancer crippled and brain damaged in an auto wreck. Vollin restores her completely, but also envisions her as his "Lenore," and cooks up a scheme to kidnap the woman and torture and kill her fiance' and father in his Poe-inspired dungeon. To do his dirty work, Vollin recruits a wanted criminal (Karloff), and turns him into a hideous monster to guarantee his subservience. --Kevin Rayburn
The Black Cat: Honeymooning in Hungary, Joan and Peter Allison share their train compartment with Dr. Vitus Verdegast, a courtly but tragic man who is returning to the remains of the town he defended before becoming a prisoner of war for fifteen years. When their hotel-bound bus crashes in a mountain storm and Joan is injured, the travellers seek refuge in the home, built fortress-like upon the site of a bloody battlefield, of famed architect Hjalmar Poelzig. There, cat-phobic Verdegast learns his wife's fate, grieves for his lost daughter, and must play a game of chess for Allison's life. --Sister Grimm

The director and stars of 1998's You've Got Mail scored a breakthrough hit with this hugely popular romantic comedy from 1993, about a recently engaged woman (Meg Ryan) who hears the sad story of a grieving widower (Tom Hanks) on the radio and believes that they're destined to be together. She's single in New York, he lives in Seattle with a young son, but the cross-country attraction proves irresistible, and pretty soon Meg's on a westbound flight. What happens from there is ... well, you must have been living in a cave to have let this sweet-hearted comedy slip below your pop-cultural radar. There's little complexity or depth to writer-director Nora Ephron's cheesy tale of a romantic fait accompli, and more than a little contrivance to the subplots that threaten to keep Hanks and Ryan from actually meeting. But the purity of star chemistry here is hard to deny, and this may be the first film to indicate the more serious and sympathetic side of Hanks that is revealed in later roles. With its clever jokes about "chick movies" and repeated homage to the classic weeper An Affair to Remember, this may not be everybody's brand of amorous entertainment, but it's got an old-Hollywood charm that appeals to many a movie fan. --Jeff Shannon

Leviton ODS10-ID Decora 120/277-Volt Wall Switch Occupancy Sensor, White

The Leviton ODS10-ID Decora wall switch occupancy sensor is the ideal energy-saving choice to provide automatic (auto on/off and manual on/auto off) lighting control in a variety of commercial and residential applications, including offices, conference rooms, multimedia rooms, child-care centers, and more. The ODS10 is the perfect solution for controlling a wide variety of load types. It features a low-profile digital design and vandal-resistant PIR lens. It does not require a neutral connection, and it installs in place of a single-pole wall switch to fit in a standard wall box.ODS10-ID Decora Wall Switch Occupancy SensorAt a Glance:Automatic lighting control; 180-degree field of view; 2,100 square feet of coverageUse with incandescent lamps, fluorescent, and low-voltage lighting with electronic or magnetic ballastsConfigurable for optimum sensitivity and performanceLow-profile design eliminates obtrusive scanning device lookFive-year limited warranty180-degree field of view; provides approximately 2,100 square feet of coverage (shown in white). View larger.Field of ViewAutomatic Lighting Control for Energy SavingsIt's well-known that turning off the lights when leaving the room is one of the simplest ways to cut down on energy usage. Yet it's not always convenient or easy to remember, especially in places where a variety of people are coming and going throughout the day.The ODS10-ID helps eliminate the problem of load type selection by providing automatic control of incandescent lamps, fluorescent, and low-voltage lighting with electronic or magnetic ballasts. It provides an adjustable 180-degree field of view with optional adjustments for sensitivity, ambient light override, and delayed off time. The unit also features a manual override switch that can be used to keep lights off while an area is occupied, which may be desired in conference rooms and other areas during slide or film presentations. For increased energy savings, the ODS10-ID offers a light sensor which provides an ambient light override option that can be set between 2 and 500+ foot-candles at full brightness to prevent the sensor from switching lights on when there's sufficient sunlight, regardless of occupancy.About PIR TechnologyThe ODS10-ID uses passive infrared (PIR) detection technology via a segmented Fresnel lens to monitor a room for occupancy. This specialized lens divides the field of view into sensor zones. When a person passes into or out of a sensor zone, the sensor detects motion and switches the lights on. The lights will remain on as long as there is an occupant in the room. When the space being monitored by the sensor is unoccupied for the preset time you've chosen, the unit will switch the lights on.Long Life and Automatic or Manual OperationTo ensure longer service life and compatibility with electronic ballasts, the ODS10-ID carefully times its switching-contact opening and closing with the zero crossing point of the AC power curve (Zero Crossing Technology). Additionally, a latching relay provides prevents product failure when used with high inrush loads. For manual control, the ODS10-ID features a convenient push-button switch. If the lights are off, pressing the button will turn lights on and keep them on for as long as the room is occupied. This mode is ideal for areas where manual on switching is required but automatic off switching is desired for energy savings (CEC Title 24 Compliant). Lights can also be turned off manually at any time by pressing the push button. For three-way and four-way control, the ODS10-ID features multi-location capability, where multiple sensors can work with one load. Multiple sensors are wired together with the load to turn the lights on. Both sensors must time out or both manual buttons must be pressed for the lights to turn off.Compliancy and Warranty InformationUL-listed and CSA certified, the Leviton ODS10-ID Decora wall switch occupancy sensor complies with California Title 24 Energy Code and FCC regulations, and is backed by a five year limited warranty. What's in the BoxLeviton ODS10-ID Decora wall switch occupancy sensor and manual. Puss in Boots (Two-disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo + Digital Copy)
List Price: $39.99
Sale Price: $18.48

Everyone knows Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) from the "Shrek" films, but years before meeting the green ogre, the swashbuckling feline had his own animated adventure. Learn the origin of the furry lover, fighter, and outlaw as he teams up with Kitty Softpaws and Humpty Dumpty to steal magic beans from the dastardly Jack and Jill in a castle guarded by giants so Puss can clear his name. Salma Hayek, Zach Galifianakis, and Billy Bob Thornton supply voices. 90 min. Widescreen; Soundtracks: English Dolby TrueHD 7.1, Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby Digital stereo Surround, Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1, French Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles: English (SDH), Spanish, French; deleted scenes; featurettes; theatrical trailers; bonus digital copy; more. Also includes a DVD version of the film. Two-disc set.
In this fractured fairy tale, Jack and Jill have the magic beans and Humpty Dumpty, with the aid of Kitty Softpaws, convinces his old friend Puss in Boots to help him steal the beans so they can climb the beanstalk to get to the golden eggs. Never mind that Humpty Dumpty and Puss in Boots had a falling out years ago, or that Jack and Jill are completely preoccupied by their squabbling over whether or not to have a child--and regardless that Puss in Boots is a wanted cat who's sworn off his thieving ways, and Kitty Softpaws is a cat burglar who works alone. Comedy abounds in this film, not only in the twists and turns of some classic fairy tales gone awry, but with scenes that range from a litter-box dance fight between crowds of cats to Jack expressing his paternal instincts by strapping on a baby carrier filled with a piglet in a diaper, and, of course, Puss in Boots' crafty use of his famous sad eyes to get just what he wants. The animation is top-notch (especially in the mass cat scenes), the music is compelling, and the voice talents of Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Zack Galifianakis, Billy Bob Thornton, and Amy Sedaris are solid. While considered by some to be a prequel of sorts to the four Shrek films, Puss in Boots is definitely a stand-alone spinoff. What the films do share is a common comedic interpretation of some well-known fairy-tale characters and knack for spinning a funny story that appeals to both kids and adults. While a heightened sense of peril and some extended fight scenes may prove a bit intense for the youngest and most sensitive audience members, Puss in Boots is generally appropriate for ages 7 and older. --Tami Horiuchi

The Dark Knight (Single-Disc Widescreen Edition)

The follow-up to Batman Begins, THE DARK KNIGHT reunites director Christopher Nolan and star Christian Bale, who reprises the role of BATMAN /BRUCE WAYNE in his continuing war on crime. With the help of LT. JIM GORDON and District Attorney HARVEY DENT,BATMAN sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham for good. The triumvirate proves effective, but soon find themselves prey to a rising criminal mastermind known as THE JOKER, who thrusts Gotham into anarchy and forces BATMAN closer to crossing the fine line between hero and vigilante. Heath Ledger stars as archvillain THE JOKER, and Aaron Eckhart plays Dent. Maggie Gyllenhaal joins the cast as RACHEL DAWES. Returning from Batman Begins are Gary Oldman as Gordon, Michael Caine as Alfred and Morgan Freeman as LUCIUS FOX.Product Measures: 0.5 x 5.5 x 7.5
The Dark Knight arrives with tremendous hype (best superhero movie ever? posthumous Oscar for Heath Ledger?), and incredibly, it lives up to all of it. But calling it the best superhero movie ever seems like faint praise, since part of what makes the movie great--in addition to pitch-perfect casting, outstanding writing, and a compelling vision--is that it bypasses the normal fantasy element of the superhero genre and makes it all terrifyingly real. Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) is Gotham City's new district attorney, charged with cleaning up the crime rings that have paralyzed the city. He enters an uneasy alliance with the young police lieutenant, Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman), and Batman (Christian Bale), the caped vigilante who seems to trust only Gordon--and whom only Gordon seems to trust. They make progress until a psychotic and deadly new player enters the game: the Joker (Heath Ledger), who offers the crime bosses a solution--kill the Batman. Further complicating matters is that Dent is now dating Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal, after Katie Holmes turned down the chance to reprise her role), the longtime love of Batman's alter ego, Bruce Wayne. In his last completed role before his tragic death, Ledger is fantastic as the Joker, a volcanic, truly frightening force of evil. And he sets the tone of the movie: the world is a dark, dangerous place where there are no easy choices. Eckhart and Oldman also shine, but as good as Bale is, his character turns out rather bland in comparison (not uncommon for heroes facing more colorful villains). Director-cowriter Christopher Nolan (Memento) follows his critically acclaimed Batman Begins with an even better sequel that sets itself apart from notable superhero movies like Spider-Man 2 and Iron Man because of its sheer emotional impact and striking sense of realism--there are no suspension-of-disbelief superpowers here. At 152 minutes, it's a shade too long, and it's much too intense for kids. But for most movie fans--and not just superhero fans--The Dark Knight is a film for the ages. --David HoriuchiOn the Blu-ray discThe Dark Knight on Blu-ray is a great home-theater showoff disc. The detail and colors are tremendous in both dark and bright scenes (the Gotham General scene is a great example of the latter), and the punishing Dolby TrueHD soundtrack makes the house rattle. (After giving us only Dolby 5.1 in a number of big Blu-ray releases this fall, Warner came through with Dolby TrueHD on this one.) One of the most interesting elements of The Dark Knight was how certain scenes were shot in IMAX, and if you saw the movie in an IMAX theater the film's aspect ratio would suddenly change from standard 2.40:1 to a thrilling 1.43:1 that filled the screen six stories high. For the Blu-ray disc, director Christopher Nolan has somewhat re-created this experience by shifting his film from 2.40:1 aspect ratio (through most of the film) to 1.78:1 in the IMAX scenes. While the effect isn't as dramatic as it was in theaters, it's still an eye-catching experience to be watching the film on a widescreen TV with black bars at the top and bottom, then seeing the 1.78:1 scenes completely fill the screen. The main bonus feature on disc 1 is "Gotham Uncovered: The Creation of a Scene," which is 81 minutes of behind-the-scenes footage about the IMAX scenes, the Bat suit, Gotham Central, and others. You can watch the film and access these featurettes when the icon pops up, or you can simply watch them from the main menu. A welcome and unusual feature is that in addition to English, French, and Spanish audio and subtitles, there's an audio-described option that allows the sight-impaired to experience the film as well. Disc 2 has two 45-minute documentaries on Bat-gadgets and on the psychology of Batman, both in high definition. They combine movie clips, talking heads, and comic-book panels, but aren't the kind of thing one needs to watch twice. More engaging are six eight-minute segments of Gotham Central, a faux-news program that gives some background to events in the movie, plus a variety of trailers, poster art, and more. The BD-Live component on disc 1 is more interesting than on some earlier Blu-ray discs, which could be simply a matter of the content starting to catch up with the technology. There are three new picture-in-picture commentaries, by Jerry Robinson (creator of the Joker), DC Comics president Paul Levitz, and Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.--he's a Batman fan who's made some movie and TV cameos), plus you can record your own commentary and upload it for others to watch. There are also three new featurettes ("Sound of the Batpod," "Harvey Dent's Theme," and "Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard") and two motion comics ("Mad Love," featuring Harley Quinn, and "The Shadow of Ra's Al Ghul"). Last, there's a digital copy of the film compatible with iTunes and Windows Media (standard definition, expires 12/9/09). --David Horiuchi

Here are some more information for Cats Double:

Why You Should Be Concerned with Your Cat Health Care
The more fully you educate yourself about the ins and outs of cat care, the more able you will be to create an ideal care regimen for your pet. The better your cat care, the longer your cat will live, and the higher the quality of life it will have. In case that isn't reason enough for you to invest a bit of time and energy in learning to offer your feline pet the best possible cat care, here is a quick breakdown of a few of the many benefits to outstanding cat care.
Great cat care means that when your cat needs medical treatment, you will recognize the signs early, possibly even long before invasive or costly procedures or drugs are necessary. Conscientious cat care will help you notice any health problems as soon as they manifest in even minor symptoms. This can help you catch issues early, when they are at their most easily treatable. By providing great cat care, you are helping to stop diseases and other health problems in their tracks by getting your cat the medical attention he or she needs as early as possible.
Regular, excellent cat care means that you will be able to be more efficient and save time in your cat care regimen. If you take a bit of time each day to complete a few simple cat care tasks, you will be sure that nothing builds up until it gets out of hand. In fact, you can spend less time overall by making efficient cat care a part of every day. Habitual and thorough cat care can actually be less work than taking care of a cat who you have ignored even a little bit. After all, grooming a slightly scruffy cat once every week is easier overall than grooming an utterly filthy cat once a month.
When you fully understand the different aspects of cat care, you can be sure that you aren't neglecting any part of the cat care equation. Cat care is a multifaceted process that includes everything from stern training to playful snuggling, and an inexperienced or uneducated cat owner may not be aware of all of these different sides to having a cat. When a cat doesn't have all of its needs fulfilled, it can develop behavior or health problems that could have been avoided through simple, responsible care on the part of the owner.
Last but not least, one great reason to improve your cat care is simply that there is no good reason not to. Learning how to care for your cat more fully and completely is easy, so you might as well give it a try. Even if you think that you already know everything under the sun about cat care, it never hurts to double check. Take some time to skim a book or a few websites on the subject, and you just may discover your own reasons to improve the way you care for your pet.

Best Cat Care
i want to get a cat flap fitted but the back door is double glazed?
would it work out better to get a new glass pane with a cat flap installed, or should i replace the entire door with a wooden one?
will a wooden door keep the house warmer? and also which is the cheapest option?
i live in England. we don't have coyotes you dumb f**k. also you clearly have difficulty in understanding how this works. you answer the question asked, i don't care for your backward opinion.
i dont think you need to replace your door..have you a bit of wall nearly you back door? if so put it there saves you messing about with your door if not try finding another place to put it..i have wooden back and front door my house is warm. but if you do go along wit having a cat flap then i suggest to you that you get a infer-red catflap because it has a 4 way locking system that only allows your cat to entre or leave you cat will have a infer-red collor key it keeps unwanted and stray cats out of your home, staywell are the best cat flaps to buy i have one myself very good you pay that little bit more but they are worth every penny. the link ive gave you tells you more.
As for the comment above..catrs need to go out to exsplore and become tough to learn to deal with things there are such things as outdoor cats (and indoor cats) ive had cats all my life and mine have always gone out to do there stuff play etc then come home for sleep and food..never done them any harm cats get knocked over all the time, some survive some dont thats the risk you have to take with being a cat owner. my cats do there business on my garden they have never done it on anyone else's. well i hope ive been useful.
