How do Batman and Robin interact with each other?

How does Robin act to Batman and vice versa? Also, if there are any movies/TV shows with both Batman and Robin in them, care to share? Please no wikipedia links, though. I've already looked through both Batman and Robin's. Neither were very helpful.
And I don't want to know whether they were gay or not. :/
