Eventi dell’estate veneziana

Sono sempre di più i turisti italiani e stranieri che scelgono Venezia come meta per le loro vacanze. Ecco una breve guida dei maggiori eventi che si terranno in Laguna durante l’estate.

Gli eventi, i concerti e le mostre sono davvero numerosissimi. Prima fra tutti non possiamo non nominare la Biennale d’Arte. Giunta ormai alla 53. edizione, è sempre però l’evento più atteso da tutti gli appassionati d’arte moderna e contemporanea. Il titolo quest’anno è “Fare Mondi†e si riferisce all'atto del creare dell'artista secondo la propria 'weltanschauung': l'opera d'arte è la concretizzazione della 'visione del mondo' di chi la realizza. Moltissimi sono gli artisti italiani ed internazionali che espongono le loro opere in questa meravigliosa cornice e tutti i turisti che sceglieranno di prenotare un albergo Venezia centro avranno la possibilità di godere di queste kermesse.

Altre mostre in programma, sempre molto interessanti, sono quella dei capolavori futuristi al museo Peggy Guggenheim, che racchiude capolavori di tutti i maggior artisti futuristi,ossia Balla, Boccioni, Carrà, Russolo e Severini, insieme a quelli di altri artisti legati al movimento, nell’anno dell’anniversario della pubblicazione del Manifesto del Futurismo di Marinetti. Sempre al museo Guggenheim possiamo ammirare la mostra di Robert Rauschenberg, con una selezione di circa 40 sculture provenienti da istituzioni e collezioni private. Negli anni '80 Rauschemberg ha concentrato il proprio interesse artistico sull'esplorazione delle proprietà visive del metallo. Assemblando oggetti vari, soprattutto materiali di scarto raccolti nelle stazioni di benzina, pezzi di automobili abbandonate, e altri rifiuti industriali deleteri per l'ambiente, l'artista texano ha creato crea altorilievi e sculture che ricordano i suoi primi Combines, da cui nasce così la serie di Gluts, qui in mostra.

Organizzata dalla Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia e dalla Vervoordt Foundation, In-finitum, prevista a Venezia, Palazzo Fortuny dal 6 giugno al 15 novembre 2009, esplora la categoria dell’Infinito nelle sue diverse accezioni, dal non-finito all’illimitato, con un approccio multidisciplinare in cui arte, scienza e filosofia di ere e civiltà diverse si incontrano e si confrontano.

Oltre alla Biennale ci sono però anche molti altri appuntamenti da non perdere, come il grande concerto in Piazza San Marco di Leonard Cohen il 3 Agosto, l’unica data italiana di questo evento imperdibile, in cui il famoso poeta, scrittore e cantautore canadese presenterà i brani che l'hanno reso famoso durante la sua carriera quarantennale.
Un artista dalla classe inimitabile che incanterà il pubblico riproponendo i brani più famosi della sua ultra quarantennale carriera, nel corso della quale ha venduto oltre 21 milioni di dischi in tutto il mondo, un’occasione da non perdere per chi sceglierà di dormire a Venezia.

Da segnalare anche i concerti nella casa di Goldoni, col titolo “Serenata Italianaâ€, le domeniche di luglio, con la musica delle due compositrici veneziane Barbara Strozzi e Anna Bon. E da non perdere sicuramente ci sono i venerdì del Conservatorio, a Palazzo Pisani, con L’Ensamble Klavierimba del Conservatorio di musica Benedetto Marcello di Venezia.

Durante tutta l’estate inoltre si terrà il mercatino dell’antiquariato nella pescheria del ponte di Rialto, ogni seconda domenica e lunedì del mese. Non si può dimenticare poi una delle tradizioni più antiche e suggestive di Venezia, la festa del Redentore il 18 e 19 luglio. Una delle feste più tradizionali che risale all'anno 1576, epoca in cui, a causa di una terribile pestilenza che infieriva sulla città, il Senato della Repubblica fece voto di innalzare un tempio in onore di Cristo Redentore nell'isola della Giudecca. A tale tempio sono legati i famosi architetti Andrea Palladio e Antonio Da Ponte, appuntamento irrinunciabile durante le vostre vacanze Venezia.
Nella serata del terzo sabato di luglio centinaia di imbarcazioni, ornate di fronde e palloncini multicolori, si radunano nel Canale della Giudecca e nel Bacino di S. Marco. Dalle rive illuminate e sui balconi si assiepa una grande folla per assistere a questa festa che trionfa con un grande spettacolo. Poi le barche, fra canti e suoni, si irradiano per i canali della città per ricongiungersi verso l'alba al Lido ad attendere il levar del sole.
La giornata di Domenica è dedicata al pellegrinaggio alla Chiese del Redentore, attraversando il ponte di barche.
