Another great place to shop for All Weapons products is Amazon. They have more than just books! Here are some more information for All Weapons: For those who follow the global military sales, it is amazing the number of sales happening in the Middle East, but there are also lots of sales going on in Africa and South America. Many believe there are far too many sales going on these days, and yet, the more weapons sold, the more other nations buy more to defend, and we have a run-away ramp up of weaponry. Highly weaponized nations may be more likely to fear political impasse, knowing that if negotiations break down, they can fight? It's not often you get to talk with a scholar specializing in post cold war US-Russian Relations these days, nevertheless I met my good future in Jesse Giraldo. And as you might have guessed based on the good many articles on Geo-Politics, I surely wanted to get his take on a few things going on in Latin America, a somewhat unlikely place for the Russians to secure client nation flags in the present period. So, I asked Jesse if he had any thoughts on Bolivia's gift from Russia of a Presidential Plane pretending to be a loan. Giraldo stated; I didn't hear too much on this, but from what I know I don't recall either parties attempting to conceal the nature of the agreement. To my understanding the original request from Bolivia was for military equipment and asked Russia for a loan to fund the purchase, the plane was also part of the deal. Either way I'm not too surprised seeing as how the U.S and Russia have been locked in an arms race to supply South America for quite some time now. And with the U.S locked in battle with the Middle East it's only natural that Latin countries begin to look to other suppliers for quality grade weapons." Good points, all of them and yes, I understand the "quality grade" weapons reputation for Russia, but Russia sure sells a lot of its old stuff - except for late model Sukhoi Fighter Jet variations. Of course, economically depressed nations have a hard time coming up with the cash, Venezuela for instance in coming up with the $15 Billion for fighter jets, after oil went to $35 per barrel and now with their nation in economic ruin - currency devaluation - culling of capitalism that's unlikely. Brazil is looking elsewhere for fighter planes, the US, France and Sweden for instance, at least right now, but likes some of Russia's technology also. India and their deal to make engines for Russian Fighter planes is a significant development, and they do put on a show at Farnborough, Singapore, Dubai, India etc. Next, both Jesse and I switched gears and he noted, that even Russia's old stuff is valuable on the open weapons markets as he reminds me; "old but effective and at the right price. The AK-47 was developed over 50 years ago and it's still seeing service in nation's armies around the world." And I of course, could not resist at least a bit of sarcasm here; "Indeed, and with terrorists, guerillas, drug runners, pirates, and rogue nation states against their own people," I stated. Still, Jesse is right when he states; it's only rational for Russia to sell off its outdated equipment, and apparently there's a good deal of demand for it." And I grinned and said; "Yep, they've even managed to sell some of those old death trap submarines too!" The real issue in Latin America was revealed by Giraldo with this comment; "... and Russia has made certain to fill that void. Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and especially Venezuela all have weapons contracts with Russia with new deals on the horizon." Indeed, I was a bit concerned when Mexico agreed to contract with Russia to maintain airliners, cargo planes, and do the labor for maintenance, as the last thing we need is for a third world nation next door, to be housing large numbers of Russian Aircraft, especially considering the current Mexico Chaos and the possibility of it turning communist, it almost moved that direction during the last Presidential Election. Giraldo agreed; "Yes that certainly would have made relations awkward." The way I see it, I think we ought to plan for that, Mexico is nearly - by all definitions a failed state, so maybe we ought to also concentrate on what's happening in our own backyard. Whenever the word medieval Knight strikes in your mind, the horrifying picture of battlefield, deadly weapon appears immediately. The medieval knights were professional soldiers of middle ages armed with the most fatal weapons. It was said that the "middle ages medieval knight was equivalent to the modern tanks" because of their abilities to destroy their foes effectively in a battlefield. The weapons which were used by medieval knights during the middle ages varied and changed significantly from time to time. Improvements in technology, weapon designing techniques and machines led to help in these noteworthy changes. However, the dozens of weapon were introduced, but only few of them were able to prove its effectiveness during battlefield. Some of those medieval weapons are summarized below: As medieval soldiers follow a complete code of conduct and a rule of chivalry so, accordingly their weapons are determined. The bow, crossbow and the dagger were the three most popular weapons which were not allowed medieval knights to use. The bow and crossbow was discarded because while using them a soldier was unable to face his foe while fighting. And the dagger was considered as a dishonorable weapon because it was used clandestinely. With the passage of time, the weapons used by medieval knights has evolved and changed significantly with respect to design and usage. In the present scenario also, one can easily avail these High Quality medieval weapons at the reasonable prices. Numerous websites are providing medieval knight's weapons within the much desired budget and you can save your time and money both. I always see and hear on the news that pretty much all terrorist organizations in the world have Russian made weapons like AK-47 or the Katusha anti aircraft gun or other missles, etc... Has the US tried to pressure them to stop selling stuff to terrorists? Or does the US do the same thing, even on a larger scale?
Watch Charlie Wilson's War. It's a great movie. It details how the US pressured Israel to sell Russian arms to the Mujahadeen in Afghanistan to fight the Russians. Israel had the largest stockpile of Russian arms outside of Russia. We wanted to arm the Afghans to fight the invading Russians during the cold war, which helped break the back of the Soviet Union and end the cold war. But we didn't want to make it known to the Russians that we were providing so much help, so we would only give them weapons they could theoretically have stolen from the Russians themselves. Unfortunately, as Charlie Wilson put it, "we f*cked up the end game", meaning after the Afghans repelled the Russians, we left them alone in a devastated country that had no infrastructure or education and the religious extremists who ran the Mujahadeed (like Mullah Omar and Osama Bin Laden) were able to take over the country and then attack us, since most of the people had no idea we had been the ones helping them. The US sells plenty of arms around the world to plenty of unsavory characters. Similar things happened when we armed Iraq to fight Iran and many other times. However, Russia does also sell lots and lots of weapons to many dangerous groups. Some of it is done by the Russian government. Some of it is done by individual Russian arms dealers with illegal access to old stockpiles of weapons. Claims Live Aid funded Ethiopian rebel's weapons Thanks for visiting!

Brief Information about the Weapons of Medieval Knights
An investigation has found almost all the money raised by the Live Aid and Band Aid concerts in the 1980s went to Ethiopian rebels to buy weapons, instead of victims of famine it was intended for.
